Ice machine and vending machine on second floor are broken.No maid service in room. One has to call front desk and request fresh towels or trash to be taken out before maids end their shift. The Hotel is 100 percent smoke free but the outside hallway leading to our room smells like a pool hall.

Decent within its category

Pros: See above.
Cons: See above.
Location: We were there attending a concert in Livermore, so the location was good for us. Also some decent restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Temperature controls were good. Shower and hot water supply good. Maid service was good. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above-average for lower-cost hotels with free breakfasts. Room was decent-sized, bathroom over-sized. Minor complaints are that the website claims rooms have a microwave while ours didn't, and they're a bit stingy with the towels.

They were welcoming and very accommodating

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I had an average one night stay at the Quality Inn. They were helpful and accomodating my first night there. But I understand their regulations that eventually caused conflict. I was paying for a room for my daughter because of family issues at home. I made the reservation online and gave her my card and ID for proof that she can use it. The hotel was understanding of the situation the first night but when I approved of her staying a second night they would not allow her to use my card without me showing up in person to sign the bill. The only reason this is a problem for me is that I am in a wheelchair and cannot easily get around. There was no one to drive me in my van to the hotel so this is where my frustration stemmed from. However I do understand the precaution took by the business and compliantly had my daughter leave. But it's just an already frustrating predicament in the first place, and a little leeway would have been helpful.
