Staff where not very friendly, we had our daughter with us, last year the staff where amazing and made an effort and she had to play a game around the hotel, this year there was nothing was a little bit disappointing, the room we love the view the noise of the fridge was awful we had to turn it off and the bed was not the comfiest on check out the staff where not very friendly. We enjoyed our time going the Christmas market next door to the hotel so that was good.

Was asked for a £50 debit deposit on my card despite already paying for the room! This is not standard practice for any hotel I’ve previously stayed in. Normally they take a scan of your card and only debit if you use something like breakfast room service. Then on check out they say it will take 3-5 days to be credited back to your account! Not impressed! The remote control didn’t work on the tv so couldn’t watch it, the bath towels were tiny and the pillows were uncomfortable feathers!

When we checked in it was extremely busy. I did feel we eere rushed through check in and told everything at 100 mph it was hard yo recsll everything that we had been told. We weren't told checkout time and there was no information in the room that we could ser. The room itself was fantastic. We had a great view of the Christmas matkets. All amenities in the room were brilliant. Breakfast was soo good. Everything was replenished before it all went. We will definitely stay again

Lovely clean comfortable hotel, in fantastic location and staff were lovely too. I’ve gave 3 stars as I had booked this on book now pay at property but two weeks before my stay they took the money off my card held on hotels.com. No communication from them to say they were doing this, they just took it. Then when I got to the hotel to check in they offered me an upgrade for an extra cost when I think they should have done as a good will gesture.
