Was asked for a £50 debit deposit on my card despite already paying for the room! This is not standard practice for any hotel I’ve previously stayed in. Normally they take a scan of your card and only debit if you use something like breakfast room service. Then on check out they say it will take 3-5 days to be credited back to your account! Not impressed! The remote control didn’t work on the tv so couldn’t watch it, the bath towels were tiny and the pillows were uncomfortable feathers!

When we checked in it was extremely busy. I did feel we eere rushed through check in and told everything at 100 mph it was hard yo recsll everything that we had been told. We weren't told checkout time and there was no information in the room that we could ser. The room itself was fantastic. We had a great view of the Christmas matkets. All amenities in the room were brilliant. Breakfast was soo good. Everything was replenished before it all went. We will definitely stay again

Lovely clean comfortable hotel, in fantastic location and staff were lovely too. I’ve gave 3 stars as I had booked this on book now pay at property but two weeks before my stay they took the money off my card held on hotels.com. No communication from them to say they were doing this, they just took it. Then when I got to the hotel to check in they offered me an upgrade for an extra cost when I think they should have done as a good will gesture.

Upon arrival the staff were friendly and checked us in with no issues. The Hotel was very clean & our room was very clean also, which was a welcome sight!! Although the room wasn't huge (queen room), it was big enough for what we wanted and had adequate storage. The bathroom was spotless! We had Breakfast included which was nice but the only thing for me personally was that the fruit & yoghurt selection didnt have the greatest choice....... The only Fresh Chopped fruit was Melon & Pineapple, though there were individual pieces of fruit available.They only had Natural Yoghurt and no other choice. It was all nice and fresh but personally I would have liked more choice as that's my main b.fast. They had a good choice of the usual cereals, breads & cooked. The hotel was a great location in the city as we were sightseeing, so we left our car in the carpark all weekend and walked about the city! There were plenty of eating places locally to get an evening meal. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for cleanliness, convenience & good service!
