This cabin is perfect for small families or couples looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lazy Oaks is located on 60 beautiful acres of wooded land. The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. So whether you wish to relax in front of the fireplace, sit around a campfire, take a hike through the 60 acre woods of the cabin property, play a round of golf or visit the many nearby state parks and attractions, Lazy Oaks is the perfect spot for it all.

the cabin itself was great, we had a really nice time.my only complaints were that the hot tub was not very clean and the basement was very very cold. but other than that, we had a great time.

The remote location was perfect for some needed relaxation. The cabin was cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. It is close to Logan, and the State park.

Cabin cleanliness was good! Hot tub great! Please clean fans - bedroom and bathroom fan were dirty. We contacted about clogged sink in upstairs bathroom but never got any feedback. Beds and linens were fresh! There was no controller to turn fan on in living room. We loved our stay in this cabin! Beautiful theme and surroundings! Thank you for your hospitality.

Very nice for the price. I would recommend a railing be put in place for going up and down the stairs. A bath mat or adhesive strips should be used in the master bath. My wife slipped 3 times while taking a shower. The cabin has WiFi but no cable/satellite for TV. There is a DVD player but where can you find DVD's?. There is wood available for the fire pit at a reasonable price of 8 per bundle. I purchased a package of wood and I also brought 2 bundles with me. Make sure you have the correct amount as no change is given. There is no dish washer so plan on washing by hand. Wash rags and towels are provided. There is a queen size bed with a foot board. I am 6 feet 10 inch and didn't care for the board. The water was very hot for washing and bathing. There was an indoor fire place but we did not use. We were 10-15 miles from the attractions.

Adorable Cabin - but bring your own cookware.

This cabin is so cute, it was just the right size for a couple, and if you have young kids who like bunks, it would work as well. The cabin is comfortable, but there needs to be some updates in cookware and silverware. The pans are all scorched, so we couldn't use them. And the silverware is sparse, and the kitchen knives are dull. If you are planning to cook while you are there, bring your own tools.The cabin was clean overall, but the deck had crushed sidewalk chalk all over it, and the grill had not been cleaned out. We simply hosed off the deck, so I am not sure why housekeeping didn't take care of that? The charcoal grill has seen better days, so take that into account. The downstairs bathtub had water in it with black flecks, so not sure what was going on there. If housekeeping is going to leave an envelope asking for tips, they should probably make sure everything is actually clean.The hot tub is nice to have, but it is very loud, so bear that in mind as well. It's missing two of the four headrests, and only one of the high-powered jets works. We would try to turn it off when it would randomly go on, but it couldn't be manually turned off, so we would just wait. Otherwise, it works fine.Overall, we would stay there again. Having the pool table was nice, but the best part was the peace and quiet on the back covered deck. If you need to unplug, this is the place. And you will be pretty much unplugged, because the wifi service is very weak.
