The staff were really friendly and helpful. At first we stayed at the annex on third floor. It had a shower head that wasn’t working correctly and the toilet had a broken lid. Not the seat. But otherwise the room was nice enough. We knew from reading reviews what to expect so we accepted the small room and lack of real amenities. Then we were moved down to second floor and the room was a bit nicer. I appreciated not having to walk up the extra flight of stairs. We stayed for 6 nights. The location was fantastic. Close to restaurants, the train station, Buckingham etc. We used Uber a few times and they had no problem picking us up at this location. If you do your research, accept that many hotels in the area are in old buildings. That is what London is about. Most don’t have elevators. Some don’t even have AC. This one did. They can’t control the size of their hotel and room for amenities. If you want large rooms, amenities etc. Then you will be paying two or three times as much. This hotel is nice, great location and wonderful staff.
