The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the neighborhood—there was plenty to see and do within walking distance. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a leak in the ceiling of our room. For both nights of our stay, we were woken up by water dripping from the floor above. While the hotel had placed a bucket in the room to catch the drips, we believe this room should not be made available to guests until the issue is fully resolved.

Small RV-like hotel room, great location

Excellent location and wonderful staff. Room for 3 was ~8x12 ft. with 2 small beds and a rickety wardrobe crammed into a space barely large enough to turn around in. The bathroom felt like an RV bathroom with no room to turn around or countertop for setting down toiletries. We loved the location, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again. It was a funny family experience, but not for the right reasons.

The location is great and the staff friendly. There is no AC, but had two fans that were enough. Close to public transportation (both metro and bus) close the the famous Notting Hill landmarks and market. Wide options for good food and supermarkets. No elevator, but is not a big deal.

This was a decent hotel for the location and the price. Staff was very nice. The only complaint would be that there were a lot of stairs, but we were able to leave our bag downstairs for our stay. The water pressure in the toilet was a bit off too. The reception is open 24/7 though which was also great! The room had good light and a nice view over the neighborhood (cute British houses) and we liked that.

The entrance is lovely! The street view is very nice. The rooms are very small. This is a great place to stay if you want to spend your days tooling around London!

Awful experience at this well below average hotel that looks nothing like its pictures. We arrived to the hotel and told to go downstairs to our room, number 4 and when we opened our door we were greeted by the smell of stale urine, it was that bad it was making myself and my partner gag.. we have a one year old that obviously we didn’t feel comfortable having in this room.. that and the fact we had 0 daylight in the room and you could hear everything from outside the paper thin doors. We proceeded to make staff aware of this problem, but they were hesitant to come and see what we were saying, they eventually came to the room and agreed that they’re was a foul smell.. we then asked that we were moved as we could not deal with this for 4 days, he then told us he had no other rooms spare. This was understandable but we then asked that we could have a refund due to the inhabitable room. We were told this wouldn’t be possible. We proceeded to book a completely different hotel meaning we had to spend out further to ensure our trip wasn’t a disappointment. We then contacted both Expedia and the hotel which both wouldn’t grant us a refund as claimed its policy didn’t allow them to. I strongly advise not to stay at this hotel unless you want to lay in a urine smelling hotel room and with mo fresh air or day light. And if that isn’t enough the fact you have to leave the room key on reception every time you leave the hotel and the room doesn’t have a safe in it. not a fan
