The rom was comfortable, however there was no hot water for 3 days. Front desk told us we would be getting a refund for 2 nights, but no refund. I called the number they gave me, but it was not a working number. The 4 of us had to take sponge baths using the tea kettle each night. I spent 2 hours each night heating 4 cups of hot water at a time . Was not the way I intended to spend my vacation.

There are no surprises when one stays at a Premier Inn. The Inns are reasonably priced for mid-range hotels. My room was basic but clean and comfortable. Morning breakfasts were included serving cold and hot breakfasts. The only beef I had was one of the cooks behind the hot bar separated a new tray of bacon by hand while not wearing gloves. That’s a huge No No. The Inn at Paddington Basin is a little tricky to find due to construction at St Mary’s Hospital and the small entrance to the inn is not very visible from the canal path, but once you find your way around it is in a great location.

I informed them that I would be checking in late because our flight was delayed by 10 hours. After a total of 18 hours of traveling with tired and cranky kids, we arrived at the hotel only to be told we had to wait because no room was available for us. Every day, our room key stopped working, and I had to keep going back to the front desk to have it fixed. For three mornings in a row, I requested room cleaning, but each night we returned to find that nothing had been done. I went back to the desk to complain and to ask for clean towels. It was terrible experience for us.

The area had lots of unhoused individuals, males in the area made females feel uncomfortable. We would not leave the hotel after dark. This location is close to a hospital, ambulance sirens can be heard regularly 24/7

Negatives: very weak wifi ( even for opening webpages and email-took a long time), out of 5 lifts, only 2 were running, breakfast - limited amount of food which wasn't replaced, no toilet paper - small wipes instead.
