Really well situated near Paddingtom Station which brings you quickly to and from the airport. The green next to the hotel is open to the public. You’re a pleasant walk from Nottinghill, Hyde Park, and everything just beyond like the V&A Museum. The hotel has very sweetly designed elements, but do note it’s super minimal with staffing.

This hotel is exceptionally clean, conveniently located, and an excellent value. The rooms and property are all fresh and updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. After staying at several different hotels in London over the last several years, I have finally found my go to hotel. St. David’s now has my loyalty and I highly recommend it for any traveler sealing a classic London hotel that exceeds all expectations.

This so-called “hotel” is an absolute disgrace. The fact that it dares to call itself a hotel is misleading. it’s more like a run-down hostel or a homeless shelter. I paid a premium price expecting a superior room, only to be shoved into a depressing basement that felt like a boiler room. There are no thermostats, no comfort, and no regard for guests’ wellbeing; just suffocating heat and zero hospitality. The staff were rude, dismissive, and utterly unprofessional. It was so unbearable that I checked out without even spending the night. That’s how horrific this place is. Save yourself the misery, your money, and your sanity. RUN, this place should be avoided at all costs.

This was a very nice basic room. I should have read more closely and realized that there are no elevators for the building and no Bell staff on hand to carry your bags. The room was clean but the sheets were scratchy

This was a wonderful little gem within 2 blocks of direct train line (Elizabeth) from Heathrow Airport. Easy walk to Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and all the sights. The room was clean and comfortable with the character one would expect from a building over a century old, as nd yes - bathroom was small but adequate. Walls were a bit thin but we always travel with earplugs. The staff were AWSOME. So very warm, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. No elevator or as the only drawback.

Nicely updated hotel in a historical building. Very nice shower & body wash/soap. There is free water fill up. Close to Paddington underground station. Lots of dining options nearby. No need to buy nespresso at the hotel - there is fabulous Italian bakery just across the street. We got the room where the train was heard every 5 min, until they stopped running for the night. Pillow wasn’t comfortable, but the bed is all right. We were so tired that slept well anyway. My partner had to use airplugs. Otherwise lovely stay in a convenient location.

Amazing location, so close to paddington station. We were their during the strike and paddington had main line connections making it very helpful. Staff very friendly and helpful, we got there so early and they we very accommodating. The complimentary water refill station was a nice bonus. Upon departure we were able to leave our bags there which saved us a lot of time and stress. There are some restaurants and cafes nearby that were good.

The property is in great location! 5 minute walk to paddington train station, there’s lots of restaurants, cafe, and shops around. Interior was transitional and chic, it sets up what to expect about London, mix of modern and vintage style. Our room was in the basement and the staircase was too narrow and steep not suitable if you have large size luggages coz they don’t have elevator and you have to carry it on your own. No air conditioning, it could get really hot when there’s heatwave, they have one electric fan. The sink and shower drains really slow hope it gets fixed. Staff were alright could be more friendlier/hospitable. During our first night tho I think it was a holiday so there’s a group of people gathered outside the hotel, partying and drinking was very loud at midnight so we had to close our window. I’m glad it only happened on our first night, we stayed for 4 nights.

Great for what it is, which is a centrally-located option that doesn't break the bank. Room was tiny but clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area, and the hotel is a short walk from Paddington Station.
