For downhill skiing enthusiasts, Gore Mountain is just a 45-minute drive away. During the summer, enjoy the proximity to the local beach, boating, swimming, and vibrant summer entertainment. Our cabin is equipped with modern conveniences.

Graduation Success

We had an amazing time at the Lazy Bear Cabin. We were here for our son’s graduation from SUNY ESF Ranger school. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We had fun playing some games and being together as a family. If we plan on coming back to the area we’ll definitely be booking there again.

A Restful Evening

A one night stay that was perfect. My husband and I wished we could stay longer. Quiet, clean, and convenient to the Hamlet amenities. The property had many unexpected amenities
snacks upon arrival were a nice touch and much appreciated. Comfy bed, pillows, and living room space.

Our stay at Lazy Bear

We couldn't have asked for more! Unbelievably clean, well stocked and organized. Our host includes many little extras that we really hadn't anticipated ...laundry supplies, snacks, bathroom necessities and coffee/tea options. Actually, all we should have brought were clothes, basic groceries and a toothbrush!! Well done, Lazy Bear and thank you too for the much needed peace, quiet and tranquility.

Overnight stay

Stayed over night at the beginning and end of a canoe trip. Everything was better than expected. The house was very clean and perfect. Cant wait to stay again. Would absolutely recommend if looking for a getaway.

Spectacular cozy cabin

Cozy cabin, perfectly clean, comfortable bed, lovely living room, outdoor seats around a fire pit. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels provided, convenient laundry room. Snacks on the kitchen counter was a welcome surprise. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication with owner, Diana. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return when we’re back in the area.

Super clean. The air conditioner in the bedroom was loud and made sleeping difficult but it it was comfy and perfect for us otherwise. we were so busy with camping family that it was busy, busy, busy. We would go back.
