The room was great. Clean and well stocked. The staff neglected to tell me that the garage parking was $45 per day. I was only asked if i had a vehicle. The pool was disgusting. So many brown and white particles floating in the water and my skin started itching once I got into the water. My husband is diabetic and sensitive to infections and such. This was very disheartening.

Waited for over an hour for the shuttle which only runs on the hour. Every hotel, to include Embassy Suites North, had multiple shuttles. Got to the hotel and front desk lady was okay, not overly friendly. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, had a stain (looked like blood) on our comforter, a hole in the shower ceiling with mold. Pretty gross experience. Paid $45 for an uber in the morning because we couldn’t trust the shuttle and didn’t want to miss our flight. I’m not a hotel snob but this hotel was not great.

Overall, a good hotel to spend a night before an early flight or late arrival at LAX. Free shuttle starts at 4:30am which was perfect for our family. The rooms are definitely outdated, we spent two nights in total, one on either end of our trip, both nights our rooms were not very clean. Garbage cans full in one room and garbage on the floor the other night. Water at the hotel store is outrageously expensive ($10 USD/bottle). Breakfast buffet was great, good variety. Staff was friendly enough, restaurant has good food.

The power went out for 51/2 hours we had no choice, but to go to sleep, we couldn’t charge our phones. I drink a nightly tea and couldn’t because there was no power. It was a big inconvenience. I felt like we didn’t enjoy the room because of the power going out.
