This gated century old home was remodeled and upgraded for today's standards & amenities with self-sustainability and quality of life in mind for life enjoyment and convenience using most of today's technology can offer. This home IS EQUIPPED with TESLA SOLAR ROOF, 1-Tesla & 1-level 2 EV charging stations. Non-Tesla cars, make sure to bring different 220v adapter configurations to match your car.
The space
Property is 2214 sqft. furnished with all brand new and high end furniture like leather reclining sofa & loveseat. All bedrooms have its own TV, memory foam beds, ceiling fan and faux wood blinds. Each bedroom has its own luxurious walk-in bath with lighted & magnified make up mirror and hair blow dryer. Living room has 70inch TV with Netflix, Samsung TV, Apple TV & cable complete with portable fireplace and surround system. USB outlets for your electronic gadgets are strategically located throughout the house for your convenience. You could find a gourmet kitchen with white marble counter tops, matched with white cabinets and fully equipped with complete kitchen cooking wares and utensils. Whole house has waterproof wood laminate flooring with 3-zone controlled heating & cooling system.

Experience some of the latest technologies could offer like Alexa controlled lights, fountain & ring camera doorbell. Property is gated and equipped with exterior cameras for your security. Experience Los Angeles minus the hard water because whole house filtration, water softener with UV water sterilizer was installed as a water treatment system. Great stay. The place has all the amenities you need to make home made meals. The bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus! The beds are very comfortable. The rental looks way better in person than in the photos. Great location with stores nearby. Host very tentative and communicative. Will stay again!

The property was excellent. Four full bathroom. Three bedrooms all with their own full bathroom and televisions. The owner provided many necessary items, toilet paper,laudry detergent,soap/shampoo, all towels. The kitchen was well stocked with all items needed for.cooking. The kitchen drawers were.labeled so finding items was easier. The house was an incredible.and comfortable.place to stay.

Loved how close the property’s proximity to various attractions as the city is known for. Seafood City Filipino grocery and other groceries are just a few minutes away, so as fastfood and other necessities are nearby. Cleanliness and order in the house is greatly appreciated. Most importantly having 4 bathrooms is a really big plus to a group of nine like ours. Great hosts, replies to queries right away. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Looking forward to going back in the future. Awesomeness all over the place!!

Great place to stay in LA. We were a family of 5 with kids ranging between 17 and 10. It was like home, away from home with pretty much anything you could ask for was there. Clean house, great kitchen with all the amenities. Air conditioning was very good. Host replied within minutes of any questions. Very close to Vons which was handy for any shopping for making our own meals. Very easily accessible from freeway, 20-25 mins drive to Hollywood and all the attractions. Glendale galeria was 10 mins away and nearest 711 a 2-3 min drive. Would love to stay here again if ever visited LA again.

We had a very nice stay! Host was super helpful and checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The two EV charging stations were extremely convenient since we have two Chevy Bolts. We loved the huge walk in shower. After we checked out we realized that we left behind a special item. The host was very kind to ensure we were able to retrieve the item the next day.

Gracious and very responsive host

Our host was very gracious and responded to our inquiries swiftly. We liked the accessibility and the neighborhood was quiet. Having an EV charger was nice. Inside the home, the amenities were thoughtful. The house was clean and having 4 bathrooms was a plus. Having an open space for the common area and a spacious kitchen section was enjoyable. We happened to be here in 80 degrees or so weather. It may be that we are used to cooler temperatures so we couldn’t really sleep well in the bedrooms as the temperature never got cool enough for us. The host did his best to help us out but it may be due to the structural foundation that the central air conditioning couldn’t cool the rooms as well as it did the common areas. This might not be an issue for others. If you feel it could be of concern to you, the host is very receptive so reach out to him.

Nice house in a great location.

Traveled with friends for an event. Each room having its own bathroom was a key factor in everyone's comfort for the weekend. The grocery store nearby was super convenient and the nearby restaurants were delicious. Had a great time.

Great house. Thoughtful owner

We enjoyed our stay. Owner was responsive and I had all of the info I needed on a timely manner in advance. The house ALL things labeled... when you are looking for a certain item its as if a little voice over your shoulder is telling you exactly where to look for what you need, including instructions for the bidet! We return to Pasadena for the holidays with family every year and will consider Shangri-La Gardens again.

Comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood

This was our second stay at this location. The house is kept very clean. It is thoughtfully appointed and has helpful printed labels displaying instructions on how to use certain features and listing contents of cabinets and closets. Comfy beds and furniture. Comes with accessories for pets and kids, which is thoughtful. The location is close to whatever you need and only a short drive from downtown LA. Would stay here again.

A lovely property near Occidental, Pasededna and NE LA

This is a lovely, comfortable home in Eagle Rock that is perfect if you are visiting that area of LA. The house is well maintained with lots of new furniture and appliances and was plenty of space for our family (2 adults, 2 teens) The hosts were very communicative throughout our stay and were responsive to any issues we had (which were few). Everything in the kitchen is labeled so you can easily find it. Every bathroom has a shower with a rain head and wand attachment, and a bidet. The beds were comfortable, and the AC had no issues keeping up with the 90-105 tempuratures we had during our week in LA. It is very close to 134 so easy freeway access. It was perfect for our needs and we would definitely look to rent this place again for any visits to this area of LA.

59th bday celebration

This property was totally fantastic, lots of room and bathrooms. Interior decoration was modern, sheik and beautiful. Reclining seats in the living room was so comfortable. Fire place in the living room and dinning room added a classy touch to the room. Kitchen had high end equipment. Top stoves and oven. Every cabinet labeled with items in each cabinet made it easy to locate items. Each bathroom had top shower heads, toilets, sinks outstanding. Great home for family and friends. I highly recommend this home to others with excellent taste and wealthy lifestyle.
