The Roadway Inn is a nice place to stay. It's not fancy, and it looked like the property was gong through some renovations, but it was safe to stay there, which was important for me being so close to downtown Los Angeles. The staff was friendly and helped me with my mobility issues. I recommend this hotel.

The property itself is fine. The inn provides parking for the guest and the elevator works just fine. The room itself is decent although keeping the swamp cooler on was a challenge. But the floors were clean, beds were clean, bathroom, basically the whole room was clean. The location where the hotel is is a little suspect. If you're a woman it's probably best to not walk around at night and if you're a guy just be careful ya know, and definitely a no go for kids to walk around at night but ya know thats most of LA. Would i stay here again? Probably, I had no insane problems with the hotel itself and it's affordable.

Passable. Close to Crypto but not crazy expensive.

No breakfast included, but McDonald's is within a few hundred feet. ~25 minute walk to Crypto or LA Convention Center over level ground. Pleasant interactions with housekeeping staff. Clean room, but nothing special. Oddly, no fitted sheet, which is fine, but the flat sheet used wasn't long enough to cover mattress. Since I know the mattress doesn't get cleaned, I at least want it covered with a clean sheet. Overall, I would recommend if your expectations are moderate. 3.0 stars of 5.
