Horrible Experience!
We did not stay as the hotel would not let us have our room stating that we had to provide photo id which we did not have on us and we were not told by Hotels.com that we needed to bring photo id, bear in mind we were working until 3am and we were very tired, we were absolutely exhausted and we were turned out into the stormy street with no where to stay, we eventually found a hotel room from Holiday Inn and had to pay again for another room after already paying for the Britannia. Please refund me for the Britannia non stay and for the sake of your reputation, take this hotel off your books!

I stayed in Manchester during the holiday week. I was planning on just stayed one night at a variety of different hotels. I decided to spend my last three nights at this hotel for multiple reasons. I love how it’s walkable distance from many cool things. The Britannia Hotel over all was certainly a bang for your buck. A bit outdated and not as many amenities as some of the other hotels I stayed at. Though compared to a hostel this was way more preferred. I didn’t care for having a whole kitchenette like in my other hotel rooms I stayed in seeing as I’m going out everyday, eating out and sight seeing I just needed a place to sleep, shower and just keep my luggage safe. The hotel’s breakfast is decent for the price. A basic selection. Kinda reminded me of the mess hall at college. I only got it one morning basically just to drink coffee. They have two bars completely different vibes. Both were cool to hangout in! All the staff was so wonderful and helpful. The holiday decor was also amazing on top of the beautiful lobby area. Loved seeing all the Christmas trees around the hotel. Will certainly stay here again. The hotels location is also really convenient. The Manchester Arndale Shopping Centre is right down the way. I highly suggest stopping at Brew dog House. Wonderful all around as well as a lot of places around the area. Loads of places around to enjoy. There was even a cute little Christmas town set up at the Piccadilly Gardens.
