Staff on reception were very efficient and helpful with my queries. The room was claen and comfortable. The only niggle was no.plug sockets either side if the bed though their are USB this didn't help as I had a C connection. The bathroom looked a bit 'tired' and could do with a refit. The bar and staff were very good. Breakfadt was excellent with a wide range of choice.

The room was dated and had a musty smell. The heating was broken and it was absolutely freezing - the best they could do was provide an extra duvet. We arrived at 1PM and were turned away to come back at 3PM without even checking if the rooms were ready. No bottled water in the room.

The room was incredibly neglected. The sink in the bathroom was leaking so we had to put towels down, and the bath also leaked after taking a shower. We were also given only one bath towel for 2 people. The room was tiny with poor lighting making it impossible for getting ready.

Very pleasant place to stay, only reason I haven’t rated it higher this time is as who was in the room next to me was speaking loudly at 11.30 last night & also at 6am this morning. Due to that I checked out earlier & was at Manchester Piccadilly before 9am. Would have gone earlier if was light outside. No criticism with yourselves.
