Very clean high high end hotel. Older design with lots of wood but in excellent condition. Staff very friendly and helpful from helping with luggage to opening doors for you. Plenty of staff all the time. Liked the gym facility and pool and in-room massage service for about $17 for an hour.. Did not try the breakfast buffet as this hotel is a block away from a megamall which has probably over one hundred places to eat. Two things i didn't like was the air conditioning was just okay and had them check it as i thought it was not cold enough but they said it was working and on our last two days the shower hot water was warm and almost cold and they checked it and said we just needed to wait longer for it to heat up before taking a shower which i didn't like and had to take a cold shower twice.

Typical Philippine luxury hotel

Pros: The staff could not do enough for you, very well trained.
Cons: plumbing
I have stayed at more than a few hotels in the Philippines. This one was better then most. It was very clean and modern with an extraordinary staff. It has one fault that I continue to find even in modern multi-million dollar hotels and businesses in the Philippines and that is plumbing. A big beautiful glass enclosed shower with a drain higher than the floor which left you standing in about a half inch of water which would not drain. The water stayed there for the next person or for the maid who had to sponge it up to clean. Silly problems like this continue to show up even in new facilities. The international union of plumbers setting up a school there would be a big help.
