Your Lakeside adventure begins at this charming 2-bedroom house. With a cozy queen bed and two full beds, guests will feel right at home. Enjoy the convenience of AC, WiFi, heating, full kitchen, with washer, and dryer. Great front porch for your enjoyment. The driveway can easily be used for your boat trailer. Outside space is great. Grill provided along with chairs to sit outside. There are TV's in each bedroom. South Lakeside is outside the gates. No gate fees until you enter Lakeside. Easy access to visit Lakeside, Marblehead, or anywhere on the Peninsula and surrounding area. Kelley's Island Ferry is 5 minutes away. Jet Express is 15 minutes. The rooms were clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Temperature with heat on was very comfortable. The host answered us back right away with the answer to our question!

Loved the location, the property had what was needed. Everything was clean and as described. Would have liked longer curtains or blinds on some of the windows downstairs for more privacy since you could see throughout the house at night from the street. Overall the stay was great!

On the positive side, the place was clean. The living room and dining room were cozy and nice. Location was good for us, because our boat was docked right down the road. We thought the kitchen could use more cupboards and counterspace. Ther was no toaster, and the fridge froze some of our food (Freezer also had ice build- up at the bottom). For people our age (70), the bathroom was not easy to maneuver in (quite small), and it would be nice to just have a shower, not a tub you have to step into. Both bedrooms were upstairs, so you have to go down the stairs to use the bathroom. Stairs are quite narrow and noisy. Bedrooms were fine, with overhead fans and little road noise even though the house is right by a busy road. It would be nice if both bedrooms had empty dressers to use. We would have liked to be able to use the screened windows on the front porch, but windows were sealed shut. For younger people, this place would be fine, I think. But it could be a little more user-friendly with the kitchen and bathroom. We managed to enjoy ourselves despite these things, but I would caution older people to beware of the layout.

This was a quaint home near everything. It was a good home base for our weekend trip. Although the bathroom was small and the air conditioning was not up to speed for our visit, our host was communicative with us and made good adjustments. I would recommend this if you like quirky nice clean houses. My only minor complaint is the outdoor space needs to be more welcoming with seating and maybe a deck. The front porch was a great place to start and end the day. Thanks Wally.

Clean and comfortable. Beautifully remodeled and modern kitchen that is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Nice linens and towels. Comfortable in the heat. The owner is a good communicator and he cares about your stay. Outside the Lakeside Chatauqua gates, yet less that 1/2 mile away. I enjoyed my stay.

It was good until we realized that the upstairs AC unit in the main bedroom leaked from underneath, all over the floor. The AC units in the house wouldn’t hold a set temp for cooling which didn’t work for my daughters health conditions The stairway lightbulb was burned out so the staircase was pitch black. I’m hoping to hear from the owner about the issues. They were small issues, but were important details.

It was a nice little old cottage with some modern updates. Plenty of room for 2 to 6 adults. Location was convenient to lakeside and Marblehead. For the nightly cost, it was well worth it.

Perfect location!

The property was just as listed. Clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable! It was perfect for our adult children during a family vacation. We had an issue with the door lock and the owner was very responsive and collaborative on a solution! We would absolutely stay again with more family trips planned as the location is ideal!!

Lovely Lakeside Location

What a beautiful property! Everything we needed was there. The property manager was easy to contact. Fantastic location. Even had the fridge stocked with water bottles due to a boil advisory the day before.It is not located within the gates of Lakeside, but close to all of the local amenities. A very affordable option to stay in a great location.
