Very clean, safe, and accommodating staff. Lovely view of the lake and a short walk or drive to the lighthouse. Our second stay and we will definitely go back.

Then property is brand new and clean. But the service was pretty poor. First off for the price not having in room coffee is ridiculous, I've stated at motels at a fraction of the price that has in room coffee. But the worst part is when we went to get coffee downstairs it was empty and whenwe tried to ask the front desk person walking by for coffee, they didn't hear us since they had their headphones in. You'll get a much better value and experience at a name brand hotel. Not here.

The resort staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — they truly made me feel seen and valued throughout my stay. The entire property was spotless and beautifully updated, with stunning amenities that added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for comfort, care, and a touch of luxury!

The decor of this property was very nice - bright hallways, very clean. Kind of Scandinavian decor. Staff was friendly. It was very convenient to the places we wanted to go and is right across the street from Lake Erie. The downside for us is that we are in our 70s the beds were on low platforms which made it harder to get in and out of the bed, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, but had no countertop or shelves to put toiletries on. We did not eat at the facility. They only have brunch on weekends, so we went in town to a place called Latitudes for a very nice breakfast. When we asked where a gas station was, no one seemed to know, which we thought was very strange. We had to travel about 7 miles to find one in Port Clinton.

This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the water. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The decor was perfect. We liked that we could walk to the lighthouse :)The TV had great reception and wi-fi was good too. Cell phone service was a little sketchy because of the area. We would have liked snack options up front. We did not eat at the Hotel, but it does have a beautiful restaurant.

The Wave is an amazing location. The entire hotel was clean and had many options for what to do. Workout facility, pool, bar and restaurant were superb. Would definitely recommend as well as book again.

Atmosphere makes it!!

Hotel location perfect, really cute boutique hotel, restaurant and lounge great. Food was excellent, room atmosphere great. Bathroom hard to use to get ready in and extra mirror had no plugs near, if the had switched where pics on wall with the mirror much easier. Check in smooth though a hiccup with door code. Overall it was a great stay.
