"I was at a previous motel because of unfortunate circumstances, and I was so happy to be at the English Inn. It was far more superior than the previous motel and over all environment is so peaceful and clean. It was good to be in a comfy bed and relaxing room. The English Inn has been my "go to" place to stay as I am a frequent visitor. Overall best place to stay when you are in Charlottesville."

"Very clean, spacious, and well-appointed rooms in the suite. Excellent amenities and great privacy. Quiet. Two separate bedrooms each with queen size bed and TV, two bathrooms (one with a tub, the other a roll-in shower), a kitchenette with full size refrigerator and small table, living room with a tv, sofa, and fireplace, a large safe for valuables, closets with mirrored doors, hairdryer and amenities, elegant! Stylish! All the comforts of home. Beds were comfortable but their platform made them high off the ground. This was a mobility-accessible suite. It would be difficult for a disabled person to climb into bed without a step stool and some assistance. The roll-in shower was large and could easily accommodate a wheelchair or shower seat. However, there the knobs and shampoo were positioned out of reach of a disabled person in a wheelchair. There was no hand-held hose in the roll-in shower. Kitchenette was wonderful! Windows had both drapes and blinds for privacy. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was very good with a wide array of offerings. Parking was a breeze. Short drive to UVA but thankfully out of the congestion and noise of the city. Very quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next visit."

"In all honesty, the room seemed a little dusty, but it was quite well equipped. A vanity area just outside the bathroom had its own sink, which was convenient for us as a couple trying to get thru our morning ablutions & get out to tour about. The pool and the tiled outside seating area were rather elaborate, although (not being aa fan of chlorinated water) we did not avail ourselves of it. Parking was just a little distant, due to tenant volume, but the area seemed very quiet & safe, & ample room was available for loading & unloading at the front door. Minutes away from downtown Charlottesvilles."

"Rooms were nice. Doormen/valets were extremely helpful and friendly. However, the front desk staff were essentially worthless in helping with problems and were unapologetic and nonchalant that they couldn’t help on just basic things. They seemed bored with their job to a person. As a regular Bonvoy member one of the worst experiences with front desk staff I have experienced especially at an Omni."
