As a guest of Liberty One, you'll find a rooftop terrace, a garden, and a picnic area. The front desk is open around the clock. For a fee, parking is available.
I liked that we were the here before time and the room was still available and we were able to go up. Also it was good that there was hotel parking under the hotel
A few things - itâs not clear as to where the entrance to the hotel is. Especially arriving late at night. Parking along the side of the road was horrible, especially when I just needed to check in and organise things. I wasnât told what floor my room was on, so took pot luck and lucky I was right. Parking underground had poor signage to where the lifts were located. Had to call reception to find them. Then itâs not stated clearly what levels have car park access so spent 10minutes trying to figure out which level I parked on. Upon entering the room, it had clearly not been cleaned properly. The stove and oven door had grease splatters, floor felt dirty, stains on the rug. Bathroom sink needs a decent clean and scrub. Then the bed - the bedhead was literally hanging off the wall. I notified straight away - so Iâm hoping I donât get charged for damage! Pillows had seen better days and stains⊠bedroom had no bedside lamps which makes it hard to find yourself in a dark environment once main lights are off (this is just an observation). Overall, I probably wonât be in a hurry to recommend this complex to stay at if I had anyone ask.
Front door sometimes just opened
Balcony doors didnât lock
Bathroom door didnât lock
Internet was ass soon as you stepped on balcony cut out
Some of the balcony you could feel the floor moving due to the fact wasnât done correctly
What a terrible hotel experience! I wanted to have my booking refunded after 10 minutes of looking at just how filthy and broken the room was!
The street is a nightmare if you're driving but at least they have plenty of underground parking. The process to collect the key is a bit of a hassle though as there's no reserved parking out front, so people are constantly double and triple parking just to duck inside and collect or return keys.
The room was just absolutely filthy. Comfortably the most disgusting hotel experience I've ever had. Dust, dirt, holes in walls, marks everywhere, cobwebs all over the balcony, mould or dirt in the grout in the bathroom and shower, marks all over the couch and chairs and I don't want to know what was on the bathroom door it was filthy!
The bed felt like it had been pulled off the street after 15 years in the rain. Thankfully the sheets were clean which is the only reason I stayed. I took probably 30 photos of the endless philth. I don't know how it's so bad as the building is less than 4 years old.
Will never return not even if they paid me.
We were happy to spend a single night at Liberty One. The room was immaculate and staff were fantastic, offering an upgrade due to mistakes on the Wotif listing. Weâd have loved some more clear signage, and if the front reception was a bit cleaner. Staff seemed to have been smoking indoors and the smell carried through the building but luckily not into the room.
Staying at Liberty One was most exciting for a 10 year old, having never stayed in a building that high before.
The staff at check in are so helpful and engage in conversation happily.
The only downside is trying to park to get to the reception area. Lots of the parks are taken up by regular everyday cars and others by the tradies that are working on the block.
1 Bed 'City View' room booked on 14th floor.
*Simple check-in with pleasant staff.
*Room and bathroom very clean.
*Only negative - nowhere to hang bathroom foot-towel, despite sufficient room available on wall to install additional towel-rack.
**Amazing 360 degree views of Melbourne from the property's roof-top lounge on the 24th floor.
**Property also has a gym.
**Neighbourhood construction stated at 7am.
I enjoyed the close proximity to great restaurants but my first room had a broken AC. I got my rooms switched quickly which was great, but the fridge in the second room wasn't working. Took too long tom rectify and I had to throw out a lot of food.
Canât complain about much of anything as the accomodation was neat, tidy & clean.
Wifi signal was a little on the poor end so we used our hotspot from our phone.
Only recommendation for this place, maybe think of putting in a small ac,ceiling fans or regular upright fans as bedrooms become hot & stuffy when itâs hot weatherâŠ
