Service was not as attentive as other hotels.e.g, there were no guest towels in the pool area, there was now way to notify reception of the need for towels. My wife had to go in the elevator to reception whom didn’t really seem fussed by the lack of towels.

It was my first time staying in Melbourne. Unfortunately the Veriu was just okay - I asked for an iron and ironing board 3 times - nothing ever showed up in 2 days so I gave up. Ended up having to wear the same clothes multiple days in a row as my other pants were super wrinkly. I made a mistake with late check out manager was quite inflexible. It was an honest mistake, and I understand why she made the call to charge me. I wouldn’t stay again personally. It was clean and amenities were nice.
