The bar is an awesome place to catch up with friends or catch a game!

The Buckeye Lake Winery is just across the lake. For all the other attractions on the lake, you're just one relaxing boat ride away!
Enjoy the Bald Eagles that nest across the lake and often feed right in front of the house.

We very much enjoyed our stay for my 50th birthday weekend! The decorating inside the home is beautiful and has a lovely coastal vibe. Very spacious with enough room for us to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed the open floor plan on the main floor. They made it easy to enjoy the outdoors as well with the fire table and hot tub. The view of the lake was perfect and we used the dock for our rented boat. It truly was the perfect place for our stay on Buckeye Lake!

Relaxation and Comfort at Its Finest on the Lake

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lakefront property. The home was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. The views of the lake were stunning—especially at sunrise—and the outdoor space was ideal for morning coffee, evening grilling, and everything in between.The hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in and check-out seamless. Whether you're looking to unwind or spend time on the water, this place has it all. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Our 3 night family get together was perfect. The house was extremely well stocked and the owners thought of everything that could be done to make the stay stress-free and fun! We had one rainy day, but the basement play area kept everyone entertained. Foos ball, basketball, ping pong, hockey.... even a piano. And a library full of books and games. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes, but I have never seen one this well stocked. They kitchen was unreal - every appliance, kitchen tool and supply you could think of was there. Even a complete array of spices. The location was nice. A walking/biking path right outside the door. A private pier which was perfect for those that wanted to throw a fishing line in. We took a 15 minute drive to a small beach area with a pickle ball and volleyball court. There was a pavilion there if you wanted to take a picnic lunch. Very nice. Would definitely stay again.

We were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. My wish was for our children to join us at the lake where the grandchildren grew up. They are now 26, 28 and 30 years old. One lives in Massachusetts, one lives in Arizona and one in Columbus. We are snowbirds,who after living on the north bank at Buckeye Lake for 30 years, moved. Having this family get together to reconnect and reminisce, was amazing! Our two daughters, our 3 grandchildren, and our son-in-law. Everyone played in the lake like they did when they were little children.The house accommodated all of us beautifully. We were completely happy with our stay!

We hosted a group for my husbands 50th birthday of mostly family and a few friends. I was very impressed by the well equipped kitchen. Way more than I could have desired. The early check out time was a little stressful but overall the property, location, amenities and EVERTHING was perfect.

The house was beautiful! And i don't think I've been anywhere that had more kitchen utensils, small appliances, dishes, and silverware! And we really appreciated having dishes fit for the kids! Boating was fun and we were close enough to Columbus that we visited COSI and the Zoo.

Buckeye lake family vacation

We chose buckeye lake because it was centrally located for Pa and Michigan family. We are accustomed to the ocean front cottages at the outerbanks and the house at buckeye lake did not disappoint us. The house is located right on the lake with large windows so the view is wonderful. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped a plus for us as we prepare most of our meals. The owners are very nice and very responsive and they have done their best to anticipate your needs with lots of bikes and equipment and outdoor seating. The only draw back was no water access at the house to swim. Not a specific problem with the house this just appears to be more of a boating lake. We did find a nice beach at the state park about a 15 minute drive from the house and that entertained our grand daughter. Overall we were very pleased and very comfortable.

Grand kid weekend

We greatly enjoyed our time at Buckeye Lake and being able to spend a couplele days in your beautiful home. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of room for all of us. We were greatly surprised by the toy collection in the grarage for our grand kids. They had a blast, and were never bored. We went for bike rides, and even took the kayaks out for a short spin. Thank you for your hospitality.

Family Pirate weekend

We had our family in town for the first annual Piratefest and our little boys had fun there and we had a small pool we set up outside that they jumped and played in and enjoyed also. Great home for families because it feels so large but also intimate. We would stay again for sure!

Great home for Denison graduation

We had 7 stay in this home to celebrate our Denison senior - only 20 minutes to campus. Hang out space was ample and comfortable, bedrooms were spacious, kitchen was well stocked if you decided to eat in. Enjoyed stops at the Brewery, Yacht Club & Hereinafter Tavern while at Buckeye Lake.

A prime pick!!

We had such an enjoyable stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is very well kept, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the whole house is incredibly well stocked. We really enjoyed our weekend as friends being able to be cozy and comfy while still enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The hot tub was a phenomenal addition to our stay. What made it the most special was the consistently kind and helpful communication for the hosts. They were beyond superb in meeting our expectations as Vrbo hosts.

Great Winterfest House
