Needs improvement and oversight

There was no cleaning and clean towels the two days we stayed. There were kids running around past midnight the first day and we were not able to sleep. I like Hampton Inn but this did not meet my expectations.

The property was clean, safe, modern and convenient. The only issue was the night clerk who was rude when we asked for batteries for the remote and tissue paper. He seemed hard working but unfriendly.

Overall stay was pretty good. Hotel stay at the time was a bit noisy due to the fact that they had a huge soccer tournament that week we stayed. So the kids running up and down the hallways in the daytime and night was a no bueno for me. Breakfast was really nice.

In the door then charge me more

I saw no indication I would have to pay a fee to park our car in the hotel lot. I was charged $30 per day to park my car there which I found to be nothing more than an add on once they had me in the door. The room was clean and the majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. Lack of luggage carts was an inconvenience also.

Room very clean and comfortable. Location convenient. Front desk staff very helpful. Surprised that coffee /hot water not available beyond breakfast service. Cold water ( with lemon) was available. Found breakfast choices limited by 9am ( breakfast to run 6-10) in fairness only noticed one person servicing breakfast and it’s hard to keep up/ahead of crowds coming in at that hour

When I arrived, I was told there was a $10 parking charge. I had not been sware of this and staff said it is a new Hampton Inn Rule but that it is not on their website. What? When I checked out, I asked for a receipt, I discovered they had charged me $30 for parking one night! After correcting it they were still going to charge me $20. Eventually the desk clerk said he would credit me the addional $10 to my credit card. I will be checking that closely. Charging $10 for parking in an out of the way hotel with about 10 cars in the lot seems ridiculous anyway, but then multiplying it by 3 sounds like someone is trying to make money off me to pocket. I will never stay here again. Though the hotel itself wasn't bad, and their breakfast was good, watch your statement at checkout!
