I checked in with my family only to be given diection by the bellman to find our room ( not take us ) and found out that the room was already occupied. They apolgized profusely and about not knowing that they didnt know that person didnt check out . We were assigned to another room with a design of no bathroom door with only.shower and toilet doors separately so i have to change in the shower stall due to privacy from my 9 year daughter. The food is distasteful , the customer service is horrible with staff treating us ( jamaicans ) with no dignity and respect as if we are not paid vacationers and of note, the locals outnumbered the foreigners. While we were given some level of compensation for the foulup, there are lots more negative annotations to report and as such i will never recomend or stay at this resort ever again.

This was my second time staying at a Bahia resort, but this time I stayed at the Grand instead of the Luxury — and I have to say, there’s a HUGE difference. With the Luxury, you get more access, free room service, and a cleaner overall experience. They’re currently making some renovations, so there were limited dining and activity options. However, as always, the staff were kind and accommodating. It was my birthday, and they even rearranged a few things to make it special for me

The TV in our room malfunctioned. They sent someone to have a look at it. He "Reset" it. It worked for as long as it took the repairman to get back to the elevator. The hotel was crowded during a National Holiday weekend. The main buffet was closed for lunch on the main holiday with large number of persons on property. We were redirected to another restaurant, Picis, which was at maximum capacity and had no seating as they were overcrowded. The third option had long lines and ran out of food. The staff was rude when we tried to get answers on why the main buffet would close for lunch at such a time. At one point the woman turned her back walked inside the closed restaurant and locked the door.

I booked this vacation for my mom and Dad to destress due to my dad’s recent cancer diagnosis. They have been to Bahia many times and had a good time, but this was their worst. Some horrible experience was cold and salty food, undercooked meals, rude new staff and new management and the list goes on. My mom ended up getting sick.They said never again will they return to Bahia.

Room was clean some staff was nice however I did not like the time to eat time to drink the buffet was very busy overload of children. I tried to upgrade to luxury said it was busy. No foam party music stops at 12am no club on property. Steakhouse was not a steakhouse it was in the outside buffet area where we still had to get our own food but they brought us drinks and the meat. But I did appreciate them singing to me for my birthday

The beach is small and rocky. You need water shoes for sure. We just hung out at the pool which was really nice. The rooms are dated with small tv’s. Front desk staff not very helpful and seem to have an attitude when any questions were asked. We couldn’t get reservations for most of the restaurants. They were not fully booking to capacity. We got one reservation during a 5 night stay. You’re only allowed two. The buffet was mediocre at best and wasn’t opened for lunch. A smaller open air buffet was open during lunch and which is not centrally located. We would not return to this resort.

The property overall was great, loved the pools, beach and the fact that we could get fruits on the property the kids enjoyed that, the downside is the food, the food was not good in any way so my family and I had to eat off the property the entire time so that defeated the purpose of our all inclusive lifestyle. Outside of the food and the way time for dining everything else was great. The cleaning stay was wonderful, friendly and polite, the entertainment team was great.

Check-in was a nightmare, the bracelet to get into your rooms are ridiculous. The desk agent stared at us like what did i want her to do about it, the bellman wasn't no better. I can say the next few days we were there the lady that worked in the restaurant during breakfast was great, i hate i forgot her name she wad always smiling. We didnt stay atound the hotel during the day due to excursions we booked. But hopefully the younglady who checked us in received a little more training. I came back to Jamaica but we stays in Montego Bay and it was great.
