Weary Visit to a Time in the 1970’s

For a weary traveler it was an oasis on the 101 highway. It had been a long day and couldn’t make it to Monterey. The breakfast offered in the morning was great and hardy. The downside is that the property was “dated. A motel from the 1960-70’s. The bath towels were few and looked worn. There were few TV channels, I didn’t understand the cable system. The staff was efficient with checking and breakfast setup, but not overly friendly or interested in me and where I’d been and where I was going. Property needs a makeover

WE were worried about music coming from a party next door, but once we closed the door to our room we did not hear anything. We slept like a baby. The iron on the ironing board we thought it was an overkill, but whatever works. Thank you

If you’re going to check out Pinnacles NP and are on a budget, this is the place to stay. It’s not the best, but it’s really close to the national park. Make sure you check out by 11 am. We asked if we could have another 30 minutes to check out because we were running late and the front desk was very rude and said no. I’ve stayed in so many places in the past and have never been treated this way before.
