Booking said queen beds , definitely not a queen. Also limited bedding, asked for extra pillows they said they were unable to provide. Front desk staff was rude, especially one older man with white hair.

Great hotel location. Central to old montreal and downtown. The good, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds. The bad: the room was musty, and while clean the carpet shows its age with heavy staining, leading to an unpleasant smell, in the bathroom the tub was rusty, there was heavy caulking over what looked like mold and the vanity countertop was broken. Would say a 3.5 out of 5. Price is good and location is great.

Communication was excellent until we checked in. After over a half hour trying to find the parking garage, we arrived in the room to a broken toilet, no AC in the main room, a full garbage can and dingy, dirty room with no chair and no linens for the pullout sofa. Also the phone didn't work to call reception. For the amount of money we paid there shouldn't be so many issues. Very disappointed. *We received no reply when we messaged the hotel with the issues*

The location is excellent. It is in walking distance of chinatown, old montreal, mcgill, notre dame. The neighboring area may be a little sketchy but i did not feel unsafe at any time. I brought my own room freshening spray and it helped with the stale smell. The free breakfast had plenty of options, eggs, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee/tea/juice, hashbrown, fruit, waffles. The staff were very helpful. Would stay here again.

A good find in the city

The hotel is in a good location. A twenty minute walk from the railway station, there are 3 metro stations in easy reach, a bus stop is very close to the hotel which takes you to the airport. All the main sights are in walking distance. The room I was in was a suite, be aware there are no plates or cutlery even though there is a microwave. Breakfast is provided downstairs and there is access to water, tea and coffee all day. The room was big and spacious the bed was comfy. The room was clean, but there were a few knocks and bumps. The hotel was quiet.
