Penthouse #1512 at Water's Edge Resort is a spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bath direct oceanfront condo on the family friendly Garden City Beach, SC, located in the seafood capital of Murrells Inlet. Sitting on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean coastline, just south of the popular Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, our 15 floor concrete and steel building (painted in shades of blue) is within walking distance of all the fun offered at the Garden City Pier and Atlantic Avenue attractions. The Surfside Pier and restaurants are just to our north, also considered walking distance to some visitors. Convenience is essential on vacation, and check-in is easy with a keypad door lock code assigned to you, so no keys and management desk to deal with on arrival or checking out. Just go straight to your condo and enjoy! Please note that this unit is non-smoking and no pets allowed per HOA regulations, smoking area designated on site.

The breathtaking panoramic views from this penthouse end unit on the 15th floor will spoil you! From the moment you step off of the elevator onto the entry walkway and see the inlet view... to the oceanfront balconies of the living room and master bedroom... even the views from all of the bedroom windows...you will be mesmerized as you relax to the sounds and sights of the ocean. Being on the penthouse level and an end unit, you won't have the neighbor noise above you or near the bedrooms, so you will have the quietest condo in the building. Set your alarm for the gorgeous sunrises over the ocean and spectacular inlet sunsets, and get your camera and favorite beverage ready! Enjoy our large private balconies, furnished with sturdy bar height resin furniture and chaise lounge chairs. Pelicans, seagulls, pigeons, and Bald Eagles fly by the balconies, sometimes with their catch of the day. Turtles, dolphins, sharks, stingrays, schools of fish, and even whales can sometimes be seen in the ocean below. You will love seeing along the coastline in all directions!

This fully equipped 1565 sq ft condo easily sleeps 8 to 10 guests and allows you to enjoy your vacation with conveniences of home. All linens are provided for your stay (even beach towels), so you have less to pack! Don't worry, our housekeeper keeps our condos clean--see our reviews! You will arrive to find sheets freshly laundered and folded on the end of your bed. Towels and extra sheets can be found in the master bedroom closet. Full size front load washer and dryer are inside the condo, vented to the outside of the building. You are welcome to use them to keep your laundry fresh during your stay. The kitchen is well stocked, has all main appliances, and you will find both a Keurig for your favorite K-cups and a standard ground coffee maker. There is a large dining room table and kitchen bar area for eating and family game night, with some games kept in the condo for fun. The flat screen TVs furnished in living room and bedrooms have a nice cable package, and personal wireless high speed internet is provided with the private password located on the refrigerator. We have central heat and air, and an electric fireplace that can also be used for heat. Manage your comfort with ceiling fans in all rooms. Our three bedrooms (king and two queens), spacious living room with queen sleeper sofa, and three rollaway cots help provide usable sleeping space for up to 11 guests. Full-size closets and plenty of drawer space are provided for your clothes if you like to unpack during your stay. A landline telephone can be found in the master bedroom (for emergency and local calls only), and a small safe is on the top shelf of the master closet for your valuables if you'd like to use it . A full master bath with walk in shower, a shared full bath with tub/shower, and a hallway entry half bath make up the 2.5 bathrooms, all with exhaust fans vented to the outside of the building. The main entry door has a safety chain and peephole with deadbolt, and there are locks on all inner doors and balcony sliding doors. Some beach supplies are provided for your convenience in the master bedroom closet such as beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, cooler, etc. Seasonal chair/umbrella rentals are also available (at your cost) from the life guards stationed on our beach. Handicap beach wheelchairs are FREE and available for reservation ahead of time. Walker, shower chair, and toilet rails are stored in unit if needed, as well as a 4MOMS playpen.

Our oceanfront amenities at Water's Edge Resort are fabulous and were completely rebuilt in 2023 and 2024. We have an indoor pool (heated in winter and with handicap access chair) that is connected to our outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and two fitness rooms--all kept very clean and available for your use from 8am to midnight, open year-round. Armband passes are included and required for your use of the amenities on site. A gift shop, a seasonal restaurant/grill, and Rising Tides bar/lounge are on site on our lowest parking lot level (LL). The resort has two elevators servicing all floors as quickly as possible, nearly completely rebuilt/modernized over 2023-2024 winter season. Two car passes are provided and required for use of attached parking garage. You will find shopping carts and luggage carts on each parking deck floor near the elevators to assist with getting your items to and from the condo. Please do not take the carts in the condo and do return to the parking floors after use. Security cameras and contracted security staff (with hours that vary seasonally) are on site to help with safety, privacy of our amenities, and any incidents that need reported.

Garden City Beach is the perfect place to stay for family fun or business, whether arriving by car or by plane at our Myrtle Beach International Airport! There are over 100 nearby golf courses, the convention center, varieties of shopping, fine dining, casual dining, entertainment theaters, live music, water parks, amusement parks, miniature golf, arcades, the boardwalk, baseball games, water sports, fishing, bowling, dancing, and many other adventures await. Broadway at the Beach, the Sky Wheel, Ripley's Aquarium and Believe It or Not Museum, Medieval Times, Legends in Concert, Polynesian Fire, Hollywood Wax Museum, Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets, historical sites, gardens, parks, etc....all nearby. The Grand Strand is packed with festivals and events throughout the year. The Garden City Pier is only a short walk away and is free to access, providing loads of fun and entertainment for all ages. Check our their seasonal schedule of live music, and be sure to visit during your stay. Restaurants, ice cream shops, arcades, amusement rides, bars, shopping, etc. can all be found on a walk to Atlantic Avenue. at the Garden City Pier.

An Emergency issued by state or federal government that requires an evacuation of the immediate area qualifies as a refund for any remaining nights and without penalty. Tropical storms that do not result in evacuations do not qualify for refunds, sorry, but they do sometimes make wonderous events to witness. Amazing stay!

We had 4 adults and 2 children (8 and 11) and we all slept comfortably with plenty of room to spare! The ocean view was absolutely gorgeous to sit and watch the sunrise. We saw a big pod of dolphins swim by one of our mornings. Added treat! The property had everything we needed for the beach without the hassle of traveling with it or needing to purchase once we arrived. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for making some meals at ‘home’. The location was great for wanting a little ‘slower’ less busy area than Myrtle beach. Easy drive up to Myrtle beach boardwalk and easy drive down to murrells inlet for food and fishing. The location was perfect. Check in was a breeze and easy to find. Communication with the owner was excellent! Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

As a group of 4 adults and 3 kids, it was perfect! We loved the large balcony with seating and the view was just perfect. Loved the convenience of the pool with beach access and the everything was very clean. The condo was super cute!

Location - Layout - Listing - Landlord

Location: The location was just what we were looking for. Close enough to food, family, and activities, and far enough away from crowds. Layout: The unit is large and well designed for families with children or groups that have different/conflicting sleep schedules/desires. Master bed/bath is at the southeast corner of the condo... Two bedroom and full bath are at the southwest corner of the condo (with ability to close off the entire southwest corner area with a hallway door)... Primary living area with kitchen/breakfast area, living room, and half bath make up the rest of the interior living space. When you add in the large exterior wrap around porch/balcony, you have four separate and distinct areas to spend time. Listing: The unit listing details are accurate and detailed. Landlord: Tandra was easy to work with and proactive with her communications. This property met all of our expectation.

Perfect Spring Break Reset

The unit was spacious, clean and beautiful!! The views and sounds of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. Fully stocked with everything and anything you may need from the kitchen, beach toys/chairs, towels, linens, extra blankets & beds. Great Family Beach Vacation

Best condo, 15th floor great views, quiet . The physical layout, extreme attention to cleanliness, details and access to pretty much everything and then some were in the unit. The closets were full of anything a family would need for beach. We left the beach items of ours in car and used supplied. When we come again ...we will for sure rebook, we will not even pack such things. Beds all very comfy for all adults and the 2 roll aways were so clean and really comfy for our 7 and 5 yr grandsons. Our iinfant used a pack n play we brought and there was plenty of room in master& 3rd bedroom for it This is the first time staying at Vrbo in this area I had no housekeeping issues to complain about. Kudos to Tandra and her cleaning crew she uses,impeccable job..it shows...alot of TLC Our only issue was the lack of a pool or deck for use. Obviously Waters Edge fell through in getting the storm damage pool area repairs completed as promised . We never expected to be without pools but in the end Tandra was very generous in providing a prompt refund of $700 to compensate for lack of pools/decks. We used that and got a "resort pass for a day" at Surfside Holiday Inn. Adults $30ea, children $20ea What a great experience. The owner did supply updates but still this was a disappointment for the grandsons .So for the price, this penthouse 3 BR, 2 ROLLAWAYS, AND SLEEPER SOFA this was a superb memorable vacation. We look forward to returning. The sound of the ocean ah ..memories to savor.

Unbelievable View

This property had it all. View, balacony space, beach supplies. The kitchen had everything and then some. Our family would definitely love to come back and enjoy the ocean and pools. Garden City had many small restaurants and the people are so friendly.

Condo was just as pictured. Clean, beautiful beach views--- saw dolphins-- all items needed for stay, plus extra kitchen supplies, comfy beds, plenty of couches and chairs, really good balcony furniture. Would definitely recommend.

What else can I say but fantastic!! Tandra was an incredible host. Her communication was amazing and the property was exactly as described. Extremely clean and comfortable. Fantastic beach views and condo location

I visited with my best girlfriend for a quick getaway. The condo is located at the end of the building, private, and quiet, and the views of the beach are astounding! The home provided everything we needed. Side note: the furnishings and cleanliness of the outdoor seating area and railings surpassed was I saw near the surrounding units. I would definitely visit again.

Awesome Views

Highly recommend this penthouse. Very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and the views are outstanding. The building has construction but we were not inconvenienced at all. Tandra is a great host and we will definitely be back soon.

Relaxing with a Fabulous View

We wanted time away with a spectacular view of the ocean. A place to clear our minds, relax, rejuvenate, and do some soul searching. This is exactly what we found in this property. The penthouse condo was clean, nicely furnished, the kitchen was well supplied, and the owners were available to answer any type of question. Would we return to this property? Yes! Did we find what we desired? Yes. We would recommend this property 100%.

I love staying in the Grand Strand in the off season. Beautiful condo in a beautiful area. Repairs from hurricane Ian were still under way but it did not impact our stay. Highly recommend this property!
