The hallways were dirty and looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long time. The smoke detector in the room was hanging from a cord. The safe had no locking mechanism to secure items. The carpets in the room looked stained.

The hotel is a filthy mess. The floor I was going to stay on smelled terrible, the carpets are dirty and stained. There is great wear on the walls, and there’s peeling wallpaper. The surly and unfriendly woman checking us in was not aware of the condition of the hotel telling me she “never goes up there”. We left immediately. I suggest travelers choose a better and cleaner option.

Outdated Hotel

The desk clerk who checked us in was friendly and business like. One of the keys we were given did not work, but we just used the one. The elevators and in-room bath were outdated and didn't seem to be clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. We didn't have the continental breakfast as it ended at 9:00 am where most hotels end this service at 10:00. Thee facility was a typical 'older' beach hotel. We chose this one for convenience but will not stay here again.

Avoid at all costs

We did not stay. I am trying to get a full refund from Expedia. Hotel doesn't refund if you didn't book directly from them. Horrible location, workmen laying on ground at front entrance, whole hotel was sub-par, certainly for Country Inn and Suites, who should take this off their roster. One elevator for entire building, stopped at every floor up and down. Other guests rude and pushy. Did not feel safe there.

The property itself smelled of mold and mildew we had to switch rooms because of the first one. The toilet would not flush the room itself looked rundown and dirty. The bathroom was not clean. Telephone would not work. The mattress was clumpy and looked really old carpet was nasty because I asked for a family friendly room with a pet. I believe they put us in the room because of that because when we change rooms, this room was a little better. The hotel itself needs a lot of work. I really felt lied too because the pictures did not match what was shown on the Internet. Nothing represented on the Internet was correct. The only reason we stayed there was we were short on cash and I had already paid with the room through Expedia and they were refund would be hard to get.

Overall it was fine, just not very updated and some things were pretty dirty. Lots of holes and marks on walls where things have been moved or replaced in the past. Carpets stained very badly. Tub in the room was filthy. Window air unit thing was really loud

This property is in desperate needed of a remodel. It’s old and sad. The hall on floor 2 was so stinky. On night 2 our toilet was blocked. They handed me a plumber like they do it everyday. We couldn’t unblock it. Thankful they moved us to a new room. The new room was a bit better and was huge still outdated.

This is the dirtiest place I've ever stayed at. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty and stained, the corners of the floors and walls were dirty. Its just a nasty place. They also charged us the morning before our check in, even though we chose "pay at check in" when we made our reservation & they charged us more than what Expedia said our total was & they still have not refunded us the difference. Would not recommend.

This was an average hotel, decent breakfast, convenient to the places we wanted to visit. However, it is in need of a renovation. The carpets are dirty, the upholstery is stained, but the beds were comfortable and the staff did a good job.

The hotel was very convenient located. You also have Cracker Barrel and Wendy’s that you can walk to the hotel needs a major update from the elevator to the hallway and all the carpeting throughout the whole entire establishment. You have to request maid service in order to have your room cleaned. Your sheets changed. Breakfast was very nice. Your typical Holiday Inn type breakfast but the hotel needs a facelift.
