This hotel was a godsend. Checked into a different hotel a few hours earlier and just had a horrific experience. When we got to Surfside, all the stress went away. Clean room, friendly staff, helpful staff, steps from the ocean. Great local restaurants all around!

I loved how you could walk to everything and the property was very clean and the staff were friendly. I wouldn't suggest staying on the floor near the lobby however, the music plays all day and night and you could hear people talking the whole night as my room was near the snack shop and front desk. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay!

You can stay nicer places for the money!

The price is way too much for what is provided. Sideways Views outside of very slim balconies was misrepresented. No restaurant or bar -I guess my fault for not catching that. You have to pay for chairs for beach. Got in Friday @ 8, left Sunday by 9 and cost was slightly over $600. It is on the beach & room was very clean. I could hear my neighbor using the bathroom & talking so consider that if staying here.

This was easily one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. Seven restaurants within walking distance. Grabbing ice cream and walking on the pier was a fave. Grocery and liquor stores close. Renting beach chairs from the hotel was a breeze, and the pool was amazing! The staff were beyond kind and welcoming!

Great stay, great location, great staff and very clean. Right next to the Surfside Pier, fantastic for a sunrise view. Restaurants and fun bars all around, no shortage of places to eat and drink. Everyone in this area was polite, respectful and fun. Plenty of carts available for moving luggage inside and out. However, the room was very small (kingsize bed) and bathroom sink was separated from tub and toilet area. Sink was right in front of room entry door and bathroom entry door......major traffic jam. Small criticism.....we had a great stay and will visit again. Too many good features and location. High marks for Surfside Hotel. Thanks, Cindi (Front Desk clerk) so helpful and informative, you represented your business very well. Shout out to the Parking Area Security Guy at night....very funny man. He kept things moving at night....even directing traffice to help anyone coming or going from the lot or just crossing the street. Very impressed with Surfside Beach....our 2nd, but not the last visit.
