This location is amazing. You are literally across the street from the whaling museum and surrounded by historical NewBedford. The apartments are decorated extremely tastefully and furnished well. We sneaked a look into the upstairs apartment and it has a spiral staircase going to a widows walk on the roof and the view is amazing but is a one bedroom.
The owner is 10/10 for responsiveness and solving any issues we had or help we may have needed.
The only suggestion I have for the owner is to add some door mirrors in the bedrooms. There is only one mirror in the bathroom with a spot light directly above your head, for women that wear makeup it was terrible getting ready for the wedding we were attending.
The apartment is, in a word, delightful! Very pretty, comfortable, with great appliances, it's also in a perfect location for walking to several good restaurants, museums, waterfront, National Park visitor center. Amenities include a nice working fireplace, good TVs, excellent wifi; everything is at least as good a advertised. The host, Phil, responds quickly, & is very helpful as much as you might need. We highly recommend this spacious apartment.
The apartment is amazing! From the gas stove to the French doors that open to view the street! There is a gas fire place even though we didnât use it. The owner answered any questions we had and was super helpful! Lovers it will def book again.
Nice, peaceful getaway in historic town. Location is convenient walking distance to local establishments. Beautiful decor, clean, well appointed and cozy. Phillip was an excellent host, answered questions promptly and in a friendly hospitable manner.
EXCELLENT Location for visiting N.B. whaling city , Host though we didn't meet in person he answered all our questions and contacted us several times to ask if we needed or had any questions, We will STAY AGAIN and as an added Bonus their was a washer and dryer in apartment
The apartment was very clean and well kept. Itâs in a great location in a historic district thatâs very convenient restaurants, the harbor and the ferries.
Great location for trips to the Cape and trips to Boston. We stayed in the apartment for a week to watch Cape Cod baseball. Ten minutes to Wareham and maybe 30 to the shore. Lots of great restaurants within the block. Nice area to walk in the morning and look at the old architecture. For parking you only have to pay Monday-Friday between 9-5 and you can pay on the Passport Parking App. We were gone most of the day and then parked by a meter at night just next to the Whaling Museum. Probably spent $2 a day at most for parking
