Staff were very courteous and efficient. Room is spartan, but clean. Breakfast was good. Location is fine during the day, close to tram stop. Overall, a good budget stay.

Outside of building hotel needs cleaning of cigarette ends all along the roadside, as there’s no smoking trays made available outside the hotel. The food offered was very bland, frozen and tasteless. Cutlery still had food parts from previous use, plates were dirty. Some of the Reception staff sit around on their mobile phones or gossiping at reception. Window oat reception was broken/smashed, lots of men hanging outside the building who were not guests!!! Cleaners disrupt your stay by trying to enter your room to clean, so make sure you hang your door info on the outside of the door saying you do not want to be disturbed. I wish some of the night staff had more care in their work, sitting on their phones and looking like they couldn’t care less about professional etiquette, low class workforce creates low class experience, this hotel has a great price for all budgets and used to have great staff, but it seems all the staff they have now are not that great at their jobs, with exceptions of a few!!!!!! Everything else was good and an enjoyable stay.

Staff were friendly at both check in and check out. It was good to be able to request a kettle for your room, using a refundable deposit. Room was very clean. Bed, very comfortable and it was very quiet on both nights of my stay. Shower was clean and I could have the water as hot or cold as I liked. TV in room worked perfectly with all channels tuned in. Overall, had a great stay. Would definitely book again.

Smallest room I have ever stayed. Not enough room for 2 people to move around in. It is a budget hotel but not worth the money paid. no issues with staff or cleanliness

Stay here for a Man City game. Very close to the stadium, also to the North quarter and the train station. Walked everywhere, did not need a taxi whatsoever. Did not have breakfast at hotel, but there are many good places walkable for breakfast
