This boutique hotel is modern, clean, and (with regard to rooms) deceptively spacious. The staff could provide a master class in customer service. Truly exceptional!

I thought The Jewel Hotel was an apt name. A gem of a hotel in an excellent location at a surprisingly affordable price. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff gracious and accommodating. I could. Of ask for anything more. I will be recommending The Jewel to friends and plan to return on my next trip to New York City.

It was fine comfortable room. no maid service on a two night stay, but one gets used to that these days. Prices go up service goes down. It was a great location for the price.

This is a boutique hotel. I love the personal touch from the staff who greeted us by name. I prefer staying on low floors and they have that option. I loved the well appointed room that was superbly clean. The location was excellent. Close to subways, close to shopping, close to excellent and varied dining options. Probably the best hotel that we have stayed in while in Manhattan and we have stayed in many! Will book again!!
