This property was super charming and cozy. The location couldnât be any better- stunning views of the lower Niagara River and Lake Ontario from our room, and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops on Queen Street. The bed was comfy, the room was impeccably clean. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Melanie is the hotel manager and a real sweetheart. She made the check- in process easy and was very accommodating. The Pine room that we stayed in got a little warm (no individual room climate control), but we opened a window slightly and the temp was perfect.
A beautiful two century home with nine rooms to choose from for a comfortable stay. The reason for our stay, was to attend the wedding of our dear friends ⊠in the parlour of this home !Actually the first wedding there we were told !Melanie works tirelessly to please all, always cheerful !
We had the most amazing experience where we celebrated our wedding in the living room of The Old Bank House! Melanie went WAY BEYOND our expectations (over and over again).
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Old Bank House We are already planning on going back next year early summer! Thanks AGAIN Melanie â€ïž
Old building so creaky floors and noise travelling through thin walls should be expected but it has a great history, very clean and super friendly staff. Very close to the main shopping and restaurant area.
This is a beautiful historic property with a view of the lake. The location is across from a lovely park and is only a few blocks off the main strip- about a 5 minute walk. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast options were excellent and the food was fantastic. The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The main areas were decorated in in the period and the photographs lining the walls were very interesting and beautiful. I highly recommend this as a lovely experience while in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Wonderful experience - a great B&B with large, beautifully decorated room and common areas, updated bath, chef-prepared breakfast with several menu options. One of the best locations in NOTL if you are attending the Shaw Festival or Royal George Theatres - a short walk to each, and to the downtown shopping and restaurants. We have already booked another stay!
