Peaks on Gate is a modern home that isn't out of place in the heritage and charm of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It features a unique peaked tower in the centre of the main living area. Prices are subject to change daily.



-3 Bedrooms – 3 Queen beds

-5 Bathrooms – Walk-in shower ensuite, tub shower combination ensuites, and 2 half baths

-Hosts up to 6 guests (including infants and children)

-Private parking for up to 4 vehicles, contactless check in

-Gas fireplace, central heating, and air conditioning

-High speed WiFi and TV with cable and access to streaming services



The great room includes the large kitchen with large island for prep:



-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started

-Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher

-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)

-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

-Salt and pepper



The living room and dining room are also in the space with a gas fireplace and cable TV. Everyone can gather during meal prep, help out, talk and spend time together with family and friends.



The grand foyer showcases a desk with pamphlets and free wine tasting coupons to plan your stay.



The first floor includes a bedroom with queen sized bed, flat screen tv, walk-in closet and glass shower ensuite.



The outdoor area is conveniently located on a deck off the kitchen and is a great gathering space to enjoy and relax. Backyard is fully fenced with lots of space for children to play and there is an additional deck off the foyer.



Upstairs has 2 more queen bedrooms with ensuites and a games room/TV room separating the two bedrooms for privacy. A bonus room in the basement is an ideal playroom for the kids while you relax.



Laundry is on site stocked with:



-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets



Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.

The neighbourhood is in the Old Town on the edge of the historic district. You can park your cars and stroll to Queen St or the Waterfront, then kick back and relax for a nice meal then walk home.



The architect that inspired this home is Hugh Newel Jacobsen. This vacation home is a modern nod to minimalist living and ensuring the convenience of easy living. Open spaces, good acoustics, and easy maintenance.



Peaks on Gate Street Cottage is a licensed short-term rental in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lic # 040-2022.

The house is a nice design. It is in a convenient location to downtown NOTL and nearby Virgil. It is easy to walk to restaurants and theater. Our only significant complaint is the management interaction, or lack thereof. The property lists a check in of 4 p.m. Before we traveled, we asked about an earlier check in since we had a long day of travel, but never received a reply. We arrived about 3 p.m. No cleaning crew or other staff was at the house. We received the check in code that morning. When I could not open the security device for the key, I called the contact number to ask for some flexibility to check in. The management wouldn't budge. So we sat in the driveway for an hour with groceries before we could retrieve the key from the automated box. We rented the house for 6 nights and thousands of dollars for only 2 people. If there was no cleaning crew at the house, why couldn't there be some flexibility? We checked out well before the 10:30 a.m. deadline.

Great location, excellent home, fantastic property management.The home was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes and utensils. It was very easy to access by car, bike and walk to the downtown core of the area. This was a wonderful home just blocks away from downtown NOTL. Walking distance to all of the essentials, downtown stores, restaurants and parks. Perfect home for three couples, with every ready for a wonderful time spent with friends and family.

Lovely location!

Niagra on the Lake is a wonderful hidden gem! The town is beautiful with lots of great restaurant choices. Peaks on Gate is a lovely house. Nice layout. Furnishings are a bit on the cheap side which is very difficult to tell with pictures - seems like IKEA furniture throughout. Beds were not that comfortable. Towels were paper thin and no cleaning supplies to wipe down kitchen counters or dining table. The management company promptly responded and fixed burnt out bulbs.

Perfect location for girls getaway

Beautiful home.

Decent For Short Stay But Maintenance Issues

Our family stayed in this property for 2 nights during a quick trip to NOTL and the Falls. Overall, it met our needs for a short stay but the property has some opportunities for improvement. Interior was spacious and the kitchen was large and functional. Living area furniture was not particularly comfortable and didn’t have adequate seating for our family. TV’s throughout were strangely small. Exterior maintenance of property was substandard for the price. We sat down on wooden bench on front porch and it fell apart, nearly resulting in us falling to the ground. Siding was green with mildew in spots and deck steps were sunken with missing railing. The pictures are not completely accurate - the futon In upstairs sitting area was not there and chairs in basement were missing. During our stay, the basement flooded resulting in the lower level being unusable and was a significant disruption in our stay. The location was good, with beautiful surrounding homes and short walk to downtown area. It was also nice to have access to garage during rainy weather.
