Centrally located, just 2 blocks from the beach and Main Ave, it's a quick 10 min walk to Asbury Park's lively boardwalk and Cookman Ave. Experience the best of the area or enjoy cooking in your kitchen. Leave with unforgettable memories from the premier vacation destination along the Jersey Shore.

The Space:
Studio unit on the second floor, Full bed, private bathroom with walk in shower, and Kitchenette.

Guest Access:
This is a 2nd floor unit and requires stairs for access. Guests will be provided with check-in instructions and a personal keycode 3 days prior to and the day of arrival. Upon check-in time, your keycode will activate. Simply enter the code into the keypad on the house front door and room door, and then press the button at the bottom of the keypad. You will need to complete this sequence before the backlight of the keypad times out.

***Please note, guests that did NOT book via Airbnb will need to complete our Rental Agreement prior to receiving their check-in instructions***

Due to our meticulous cleaning standards, early check-ins or late check-outs can only be accommodated based on our turnover schedule. With that in mind, we cannot provide approval for early check-in, in advance. If your room is ready prior to check-in, we will let you know.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of Ocean Grove and just a quick walk to Asbury Park, the Allenhurst is the ideal place to stay. Whether you're looking for a quite dinner on Main Ave. in OG or a vibrant night at the Asbury Boardwalk or down town strip, we've got you covered! Our location offers unparalleled access to everything that makes the Jersey Shore so special AND the ability to access the train to NYC with a 14 minute walk.

Getting Around:
We're in walking distance to everything. The beach, the boardwalk, live music venues, hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops are all only a few minutes away.

We're also approximately 1/2 mile to the train station with access to NYC or a 30 minute Uber ride to the NYC Ferry.

Other Things to Note:
Quiet hours are strictly enforced: 10PM - 8AM.

Each unit comes with 2 beach passes that must remain in the unit upon check-out.

We have a strictly enforced "No Unregistered Pets" policy. We allow 1 dog (less than 30LB) per unit for an additional cleaning fee of $100.

Please be advised that interior hallways and exterior porches are monitored by video surveillance and noise monitoring systems.

Existing and arriving guests that require immediate assistance should call our hotline which is included with our check-in / welcome messages and posted in our lobby. This was a pretty disappointing place to stay. The building is dilapidated and the room was small and none of the windows looked out on anything other than other buildings which made it feel claustrophobic. And I could hear someone coughing and someone else’s tv. It just felt run down and depressing even though there was an effort to make the room cheery. That said, the hosts who I never met but communicated with, were very responsive and attentive. They brought me a bedside lamp and let me check out late. So I feel bad about leaving a less than stellar review. I think as long as your expectations aren’t too high, you can make it work. It’s a cute neighborhood close to shops and restaurants and the boardwalk/beach and the kitchen area was nice to have. It had a full fridge, microwave and toaster.

Just a little getaway
My visit to The Allenhurst was pleasant. Small space but accommodated all my needs for a two night stay. Pretty quiet. Bed and pillows were comfy. Everything was clean. The only thing i would consider is perhaps a tiny bedside lamp so I wouldn't have to get up to turn off the overhead lights once I settled but that was minor and not a big deal at all. The beach was within waking distance and nearby shops and food as well. Parking was good. Overall, i would definitely consider staying at The Allenhurst again should I find myself back in the area for a respite. Cute town. It was great. Thank you.
