Beautiful Lakeside Penthouse Award Winning Resort Just Minutes to Disney!

Imagine taking your morning coffee overlooking the water and tree tops with singing birds just outside your private screened balcony, before heading off to Disney World Resort which is only a few minutes drive away.

Legacy Dunes has been awarded the XXXXXXX Certificate of Excellence in 2025 for the tenth year running.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE A THIRD FLOOR PENTHOUSE AND THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS AT LEGACY DUNES.

Lakeside Penthouse is open plan and has 12 foot high cathedral ceilings. It has recently been completely refurbished and freshly painted. We have just installed a brand new kitchen with new appliances and granite counter tops. We have new, wood look, floor tiles throughout the living, dining and kitchen area. There is also a new 50" flat screen smart TV with Roku Tv and DVD player. Log in to your Netflix, Amazon or any TV streaming account while you are here. There are board games and DVD's to keep you entertained, but probably more importantly Free WIFI for everyone!

SNOWBIRDS AND RENTALS OVER A MONTH PLEASE ASK FOR SPECIAL RATES!

Being much more than a hotel room, there is a fully equipped brand new kitchen with new oven, dishwasher, microwave and a full washer and dryer in the utility room, along with ironing equipment. Not to mention the little luxuries in life such as a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and blender.

If you fancy making a meal and having a cosy night in there is enough seating around the dining table and breakfast bar for everyone.

Our beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom third floor penthouse sleeps 6 people ..... and no noisy footsteps from above! All bedrooms have views over the lake, a 32" flat screen Smart TV with Cable and all have enormous closets. There is a King Bedroom with En Suite Bathroom, a Queen Bedroom which shares a large bathroom with the Twin Bedroom where the bathroom is also En Suite. There are plenty of bath, hand and pool towels for you to use so you don't have to bring your own, and there are even some beach towels for you to take down to the pool areas.

The moment you enter Legacy Dunes Resort you'll become enveloped in a tropical setting with the beautiful waters and fountains. There are two gorgeous pools in the grounds. The main pool is heated and will treat your senses to a Caribbean vacation, with it's zero entry walk-in which is great for the little ones. There are plenty of sun loungers and cabanas if you need to spend a little time out of the Florida sunshine. The smaller pool is more formal and perfect if you want a little peace and quiet.

If you're feeling little more active there is an air conditioned fitness centre and plenty to do outdoors. There's a floodlit tennis court, basketball court, beach volleyball, golf practice cage and a great playground for the kids situated by the quieter pool, overlooking the lake.

Please note there are no elevators at Legacy Dunes. Check in is at 4pm (early check in available where possible). LATEST CHECK IN TIME IS 9PM. Check out time is 10am.

The Kissimmee area is filled with activities, parks, and night life for people of all ages. Legacy Dunes is close to Walt Disney World, the “Happiest Place on Earth”! Whether you are looking for The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Centre, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, or Blizzard Beach, all of Disney’s magic is just minutes away. The theme parks Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure as well as Sea World are also nearby. If shopping is your idea of vacation bliss, we offer easy access to the Orlando Premium Outlet, Millennium Mall, and the Florida Mall. Of course, there is also the nightlife: Disney Springs, Universal Studios City Walk, Downtown and Old Town Kissimmee or the infamous International Drive area.

Appartement trĂšs propre, facile d'accĂšs.

L'appartement est trĂšs propre et conforme a la description. Les propriĂ©taires sont aux petits soins, ils communiquent rapidement et mont demandĂ© si tout se passait bien. La gĂ©rante sur place rĂ©pond aussi rapidement mĂȘme un dimanche. Les lits sont confortables, la cuisine est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec de l'Ă©lectromĂ©nager moderne ( plaque a induction). Le lave linge et sĂšche linge sont grands et trĂšs moderne. Le seul bĂ©mol, mais les propriĂ©taires n'y peuvent rien, c'est d'ĂȘtre au 3Ăšme Ă©tage( 2eme pour moi qui suit français 😁) le soir aprĂšs les parcs c'est un peu fatiguant et surtout pour porter les valises. Mais en tout cas ça note de 10/10 est amplement mĂ©ritĂ© et je recommande trĂšs fortement cet appartement.

We loved the penthouse. It was perfectly located, close to everything we needed. The penthouse itself was in excellent condition with all the amenities you possibly could need. And the welcoming basket was a very nice little touch, which makes you feel that more welcome. Overall, we definitely would love to stay here again.

Uncomfortable

Uncomfortable. Positive: location, amenities, pond, gated, spacious. Issues: 1. Water pressure so low, washing long hair was impossible. We used water parks for this issue. Owner informed us to only use one bathroom at a time, but this was still inadequate. We bathed in 3 to 4 inches of water when using the tub. We found out on our last night by a neighbor, showed us where the owner had the water valve nearly off by the hot water heater restricting the water impacting the pressure. Saving on electric bill? was a miserable for us. 2. Owner controls AC, unable to go below 72, works during the day, not at night. Woke up sweating most nights, main room stays cool, but the bedroom gets hot. 3. Twin beds are enclosed in a plastic mattress cover. It might work for little children, teenagers not so much. They complained each night about the beds. 4. Fridge does not have an ice machine. 5. Had cockroaches on 3 different days. Somewhat expected, but more than usual based on past vacations to Florida. 6. Water issue on our last day, was accused of overflowing tub by property manager, left to deal with neighbor on this issue, manager was not responding to text after his accusation. We hand drained the 4" from the tub but issues spread, neighbor came back up, did not bathe till we went home following day. Owner informed us that issue was something we could not have avoided. For the cost of the unit and wanting to enjoy your vacation, standards are lacking.

First impression was sad. Checking in was a bit of a nightmare, due to owner was several hours ahead of location time zone, and the code to access the property wasn't sent on time, so reaching out to the owner at a very late, hot and humid night, waiting for a response put the family on almost an hour waiting outside just to get the code to get in Then the real impression came up. Condo is beautiful and well put. However, the AC was set up at 78 and it took almost a day to regulate the entire place down at 72. After that it was stable. Main bedroom has some kind of plague of ants or termites at the base of the window. Water runs slow when both showers are in use, which is understandable, but the flow gets very thin on main shower. Weird. On the positive side: beds are super comfy. Perhaps some of the best I've had in my travel experiences (not trying to brag about it), but includes different countries Pillows can be better though Kitchen and laundry appliances are in great shape. An opportunity area would be to add a Keurig coffee machine. It may be more convenient for some travelers to buy keurig pods than to buy grinded coffee and brew an entire pot that may or may not be used entirely. The toaster and the tea jar for hot water are fantastic. China and silverware are in great condition too. Another positive to remark is that the condo has a dryer in the laundry room, which is not listed, but should be. Location is not as expected. Orlando traffic is bad. Takes 1hr to parks

Great place to stay for Disney world

The location is pretty good and quiet. The property located behind security gate which feels safe for small kids. We are very enjoyed our stay at this place overall. The only inconvenience was that the time was tight to get ready for the checkout list with little kids before 10 am in the morning, which made me wonder what clean fee covers for.

We loved our stay at this condo. It was inviting, bright, clean and tidy, elegantly furnished and had a great kitchen to prepare meals in. We loved the pool, the tennis courts, the gym and the games room also. This is an ideal location if you are going to the Disney Parks and want a nice quiet retreat to come home to. Dee, who is the property manager, was very attentive. My granddaughter and son were part of this Disney Adventure, and we had a blast. Wonderful memories. Take a day off if this allows to drive to Cocoa Beach and check out Taco City for lunch. We highly recommend this lovely place. Thanks Mark and Vicky! Patti Davis Ottawa, Canada

Wonderful lakeside condo

This is one of the nicest VRBO stays we've ever had! We were delighted when we stepped inside. Everything in this condo is clean and modern, and it's obvious the owners take meticulous care of it. Comfy beds and furniture, plenty of towels and bedding, including beach towels. Not to mention a gorgeous lake view. The resort is quiet and feels very safe, with a really nice pool area. Being on the top floor was so quiet. No noise from neighbors above. Keep in mind this is a self-service type condo so you'll get minimal supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc. If you're staying more than a few days, you'll need to provide your own. We knew this so we just stocked up when we got there. No big deal. We loved it at Legacy Dunes and we can't wait to come back to this great condo!

Our stay was great! The condo was very clean, updated, and quiet. There were two pools to choose from and a great fitness center. The water view from the enclosed patio was very peaceful with a fountain. The Disney parks were close by and there were many great restaurant and shopping options. Will stay again in the future.

Great Rental Property

Our family of 6 recently spent our Spring Break in Orlando. The rental property was perfect for our family. It was very clean and a great location for visiting Disney Parks and Universal. We even took advantage of the gym a few times during our stay. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to stay at the property again in the future.

Excellent property and great location!

Condo is very clean and Mark is very responsive. With the trees and the lake fountains, you don’t hear any of the road noise from being so close to one of the main roads in the area. Loved sitting on the screened in balcony in the mornings with a cup of coffee. It’s very close to the DCP village, which made it very easy to visit my child.

Secure location with good Amenities

Generally the property was in good condition, the only things I would like to point out was that there were 2 bits of broken glass on the kitchen floor, when cleaning them up with a wet cloth I noticed the kitchen floor had not been mopped. I then cleaned the entire kitchen floor with dettol wipes, which picked up dirt and grime (they were basically black with dirt). This was a shame as on closer inspection, it looked like none of the floors had been mopped. We had to keep our slippers on the entire time. Towels had a bit of a strange smell to them and some had marks on them. Vents are full of dust and need cleaning out. Pans were quite dirty, had to deep clean them before using. Generally, the apartment served our needs and there was plenty of room for extra storage too. It is a good location from Disneyworld. Plenty of car parking spaces too. The owners provided plenty of information prior to arrival which made the stay easy.

Perfect weekend!

This was the perfect weekend spot for a family of 4 looking to relax before a busy work/school schedule kicks in! The condo was immaculate and had the right amount of space for us with two older kids. Great location close to several of the Disney attractions but also had restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Mark (owner) and Dee (property manager) were available and very easy to communicate with from start to finish! We will definitely be back!

Immaculate Penthouse experience.

My friend and I decided at the last minute to take our girls on a mother-daughter pre-school vacation to Disney. We book through Vrbo two days before our arrival and I was a little worried that the place would not look like the pictures. But to my surprise it and did and it was so much more than expected. The penthouse was immaculate upon our arrival, the contactless check-in was perfect, and the three bedroom was just right for us with so much space to chat, eat, play games, and just enjoy one another. The owners of the property had everything laid out for us with our keycard for the amenities, to enter the security gate, and the parking pass. Our trip to Florida was so much more peaceful and pleasant the well orchestrated set up at The Legacy Dunes penthouse, that my friend and I have decided to go back soon. We have also decided we will start a new tradition and take a mother-daughter pre-school trip every year to start the school year off relaxed and ready for learning! Lastly, I want to thank Mark and Vicky for sharing their beautiful penthouse for our family, but also for always being available through messaging for any questions we had. The last day of our vacation, I was unable to get out of a training therefore, I had to conduct it via Go To virtual platform at 9:30am. Our check-out time was 10am. I message Mark and Vicky at the last minute asking could they allow us to check out at 11:30am so my training would run smoothly and not have to be interruptive. They accommodated me with no problem. I truly appreciated this because it relieved a lot of stress for me. Which would have defeated the whole purpose of our relaxing vacation. So thanks again Mark and Vicky for a wonderful experience and opportunity to enjoy family and friends at The Legacy Dunes!! We will see you again soon! NeKeasia McGriff

Great stay

Its a beautiful condo. It's the top floor so nobody making a noise above you. The condo has everything you need for the stay. We didnt cook but everything was there to prepare meals. The beds are comfortable. The view from the balcony is pretty. If you plan to go to Disney, the parks are very close. It's a convenient location with lots of stores and restaurants near by. The owner is fast to response. We had a great stay..
