We loved that Namba Oriental Hotel is just a 5 minute walk to everything we need; the Namba Nankai Station, the Osaka Metro, to get to the Medosuji line, to get to Umeda or Tenoji. The Takashimaya and Major Department Stores for High End Luxury Shopping is just around the corner. Ebisu Basu Suji is just next door, and Dotonbori is just a crosswalk away. Perfect hotel as far as location if one wants to stay in NAMBA! The Bloomfield dining area is lovely. The Variety of food is plentiful! The STAFF is excellent, hands down! The amenities like the guest lounge, the laundry lounge, the luggage storage, the Welcome Patio, THEY ARE ALL A BIG PLUS for this hotel! The Room we stayed in was a double twin room, and was spacious for 2 adults. We understand that the hotel is undergoing renovation, we wish them all the best! Will definitely stay here again. It's a hidden gem! The location is discreetly tucked away. One will not notice it's there. For us, it is part of the charm. ❤️❤️❤️

The staff was amazing, what ruined the stay we the actual hotel. The bed was super hard, in contrary to other TikTok the rooms were super smal and the air conditioning didn’t work. When I called down using the phone in the hallway because there is no phone for the rooms to communicate with front desk they said they couldn’t do anything but I could open the window which didn’t really offer much help. The hotel is in a convenient location and the breakfast was really good. But we wouldn’t stay

The breakfast area messed up on our count, we went back to the front desk to explained the situation, the manager who passed by overheard the conversation and walked us down to the breakfast area to walk us in. Love the location, staff, breakfast variety. We stayed for 4 nights and missed breakfast 2 days. If we knew from the start how great their breakfast was, we would have not missed it. I got to make my own ramen, iced matcha latte, and they even have a Takoyaki station.

I am here for a 4 night stay and honestly wish I had known more before booking. The location is convenient, but unfortunately the condition of the room has made it hard to enjoy the stay. The carpet feels very old and extremely worn it gives a damp and uncomfortable feeling, and doesn’t seem well maintained. There s also a noticeable musty odor throughout the room that hasn’t gone away which really affects the comfort level. It doesn’t match the photos or expectations for the price paid. I tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but between the smell, the aging furnishings, and the overall lack of cleanliness, it’s been disappointing and uncomfortable so far. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope management takes this seriously this property has potential, but the current condition makes it difficult to recommend or return.
