Cosy 2 Bedroom Apartment in Latin Quarter near the Seine with AC

The living room has 2 comfortable large sofas, an armchair, coffee tables, a cupboard, a radio and CD player. The dining room has a wooden table with chairs, stools and a flat screen TV. Each room is independent and has a pulled down system double bed with very comfortable mattress. You do not need to move the furniture around as shown on the photos. When not in use the bed can be gently pulled up to be stored at the ceiling. Don't worry for your safety, it is a clever and safe counter balancing system.
If needed the 5th person can sleep on the couch which is 193cm long ans 70 cm large. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 fire gas stove, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, and a dishwasher.There are plenty of glasses, cups, plates and cutlery. Full bathroom with a washing machine, an electric heater dryer and hair dryer. There is plenty of hot water as it is a gaz water heater. Linen and towels are provided. The beds are made. You just need to bring your personal belongings :))

The perfect Parisian home base

This property offers a perfect home base for anyone who wants to truly live like a Parisian. If it is available to book you for your dates you should consider yourself lucky! The Latin Quarter location is convenient to the Seine, Metro and many tourist attractions but is also in a neighborhood filled with markets, restaurants, parks and grocery stores frequented by locals. The apartment itself is in a charming and quiet building, set back from the street and an easy walk up one flight of stairs, looking out over two interior courtyards. The furnishings are wonderful and the layout makes optimal use of space with every possible item we could have needed - a fridge, washer, a fully-equipped kitchen with extensive dishes/cookware, brand new portable window AC unit, TV, great wifi, etc. The drop-down beds are fascinating and worked well for our needs and we all slept well with no outside disturbances. Just as impressive as the apartment was our amazing host who was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. She know the neighborhood very well and her suggestions were very helpful. We so appreciated her sharing this special property with us and would highly recommend it to anyone other than very young children or elderly guests for whom the drop-down beds might be challenging due to the bed height. We had a rental car and found safe, secure 24-hour underground parking a few blocks away through Paripark Jardin Des Plantes.

Great Property, Great Location!

This was my first time using VRBO and was a little nervous, Vilay was wonderful, helpful and very accommodating. She responded quickly to all of my questions/concerns and put me at ease. I loved the location of her property, close to the Metro making it easy to get all around Paris. Her apartment is very nice! It's exactly like the photos. It was perfect! Thank you Vilay!!!

Get an authentic slice of Paris!

Simply put, I can't say anything negative about this apartment. We're a family of two adults and three young children and found the apartment, and the location to be outstanding. Obviously, Paris is a tourist town, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a less touristy location than this one. The actual unit is located in a quiet complex with a couple delightful courtyards. Everything you need (groceries, restaurants) is close by, and the metro is 100 yards away. Beds come down from the ceiling (genius!), so living space is very adequate during the day. As a previous poster said, beds are a little high off the ground when they are lowered, which is possibly a problem for the very young, or very old. However, we simply put our three year-old on one of the couches and she was fine. This was a great place to come back to at night after a long day of sight-seeing. The owner is very nice, very responsive. Though we didn't meet face-to-face, he was very attentive to our needs, and even offered helpful tips during our stay, and upon leaving Paris for other parts of France. If you're a family of 4 or 5 (or less), don't look any further. I would book this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Great apartment in a super location!

We are a family of four (two adults and two teenagers) and we chose this apartment for our first stay in Paris. We were very happy with the apartment and wouldn't hesitate to book it again. We highly recommend it because of its size, amenities and location. Because of the bed setup, the apartment is roomier than comparably priced units. The beds come up and down easily. They are obviously a bit higher off the ground than normal beds but we didn't have a problem getting in or out. The couch is also quite comfy for sleeping. With the beds up, you have a nice dining room and separate living room. The compact kitchen is in between and had everything we needed for cooking in. Oh, and there is a full tub in the bathroom. The apartment is in the second building off the street and is quiet. The location is wonderful. There are two metro stops within a couple of blocks. There are cafes, bistros and boulangeries nearby. There is a Carrefour up the street. You can walk to St Germain, Mouffetard and the Seine. We had a great time basing our visit out of this apartment. Its also worth noting that the entire transaction with the owner was super easy and very positive from the reservation to the check out. All in all, a very positive experience.

Live like a Parisian

My wife and three adult children stayed 5 nights in this adorable, quaint apartment in the Latin Quarter. Steps away from excellent cafes, markets, wine shops and most must see attractions. Quiet and safe. I would not think of staying anywhere else when in Paris. Visit Libraries Galerie Louis Rozen in the neighbourhood if you love 60's and 70's graphic art for purchase.
