The hotel itself is excellent, but unfortunately my experience was negatively affected by misleading information from the reception staff. I specifically asked the receptionist if I could park my car in front of the hotel and whether there would be a street market or anything similar the next day. He assured me that it was fine to park there. However, the next morning I was shocked to discover that my car had been towed due to a weekly street market, and I had to pay a €180 fine. I sent the hotel a copy of the fine and expressed my disappointment, kindly asking for a small gesture of compensation such as a discount or one complimentary/reduced-price night. Unfortunately, there was no response or follow-up from the hotel, which left me very dissatisfied.

Comfortable, not too fancy

We had a late arrival and check-in. The hotel room was ready for us, and check-in was smooth. Room was small but comfortable, with air conditioning (YES!) and floor space for all three of us. We only stayed two nights, but would have been fine staying longer. Proximity to the subway and a nice boulangerie on the corner were also perks.

The room was good. It was clean, the beds were medium-firm and the pillows were just firm enough to sink into. The bathroom had enough towels for two, and we were provided with soap and shampoo. The rooms were cleaned daily. The room had a wardrobe with a safe. There was a kettle with herbal tea, but non English tea. The toilet seat and flush are not silent, so if you’re a light sleeper, you may be disturbed. The best part of this hotel is by far the location. Convention metro stop is about 1mn walk away. There are hundreds of cafes and restaurants nearby. There are several mini-supermarkets as well. There are 4 boulangeries within 10m walk, the nearest being 1mn away. I could go on. The staff were extremely helpful, with special mention to Gaia whose knowledge of the area was a boon. The staff also helped with a problem I had with my charger. All in all, a good hotel at a great location.

Though it can only squeeze in a mini cafeteria in the lowest floor in terms of amenities, this hotel more than makes up for it in location and value for the price. The room was clean and the layout maximized the space to the fullest. Only way the location could be better is if it was right on top of the Louvre or something. 20-30min transit ride away from anything you wanna see with a metro entrance in the front yard and plenty of rental bikes out front in a fantastic area full of shops and great places to eat. There is a couple convenient laundromats nearby for those on longer stays. Puts anything I’ve seen in any other city like DC or NYC to shame. Would probably 10x the price in either of those places too.

Really terrible place. Air conditioning didn't when, there were only two preset room key cards, both of which stopped working after a day. The front desk couldn't fix it and didn't call any maintenance to fix it. Shower was leaking which caused water to spill on the already small bathroom floor. Too narrow elevators and stairwells.. Not worth staying here.
