Charming beach house on Davis Park, Fire Island Community. Only a 20 minute ferry ride from Patchoque. Newly renovated, beautifully furnished home with class and comfort. A summer getaway retreat. 4 bedrooms/ 2 full bathrooms plus additional private outdoor shower on back deck.

All kitchen, bath and beach amenities included. Open layout with entertaining kitchen and countertop with dining up to 8 people. Outdoor patio and additional dining table, large gas grill, sunbathing rooftop with ocean and bay views, outdoor shower. Air conditioning and ceiling fans.

GiGi was very accommodating and welcomed us personally. The house had everything we needed, all we had to do was bring food! Washer & dryer, outdoor shower... SO glad we picked it. We had a great stay and would gladly recommend this house.

Amazing beach Getaway

I love this house, it's the perfect beach house and just steps away form the beach. The spacious outdoor space is amazing with no wind. It was perfect for laying in the sun and reading my book, all while my husband was grilling steaks on the BBQ. At sunset, we poured a glass of wine and watch the sunset on the roof deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean with a touch of hominess. The towels perfectly rolled with cute little soaps in the bathrooms. We played cards and board games we found under the bed and yes, I won! So my husband lost the bet and had to do the dishes for 3 days after we got home. Win Win! There were a ton of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for the perfect beach day. the beach is just 1 or 2 minute walk from the house. Best part of the house is the silence, its great to wake up to sound of birds (or a dear chewing leaves in the backyard). Davis park is great for families and couples looking for some quite time. We loved the silence of the island, it was so serene. It makes for the perfect short vacation away form the craziness of Manhattan. We went fishing and calming after speaking to some locals, all was very unsuccessful but very entertaining lol. We did have fun one night at the Casino bar which stays open late on weekends ;-) ...and you can walk 20min to Watch Hill marina along the boardwalk or beach for another bar/restaurant that plays live music in the summer. PS: Davis park has its own doctor on call which is great. I went to go see him for a minor scrape and he patched me up. all free of charge since its part of the homeowner association he said.

A great week

This was our third time staying at Seatrain. We love the house. The location has easy access to the beach. He house is well equipped. Your every need has been anticipated. We love the back deck, especially the privacy it provides. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop deck.

A Blessed Week with family.

Thank you to Gigi and Bob for making our family vacation week on Davis Park so special. It is a home not a beach house. My husband and I have stayed on Davis Parks many times and love the carefree feeling. We planned a week with my son and daughter in law and 2 granddaughters, I wanted them to experience the same relaxed feeling. They did ! Gigi and Bob provided everything we needed. The home is fully equipped with towels, beach chairs and even a cart to transport umbrellas and sand toys ( which were also there) down to ocean , which is only a quick walk. My husband would set up every morning and the rest of us could come and go as we needed. Outside shower was a treat for the little girls and myself. My daughter and grandson docked their boat over on Watch Hill and would meet us at the beach every day. And in the evening we would take a walk back to Watch Hill with them. We did have a nice family dinner at the Casino one evening. Only needed to bring some food. Kitchen was fully equipped. House was immaculate, and the air conditioning was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. Especially since it was a extremely hot and humid week. It is so nice to be so close to home, but feel a million miles away. When my son had a work emergency, he was able to get on the ferry and make it back to Nassau County. Can’t wait to plan next years trip. Love the house.

Great location on Fire Island!

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay here. The house had everything you could possibly want or need and it was immaculate when we got there. My grandsons were thrilled to be so close to the ocean and the bay. The adults enjoyed the open plan of the house that made cooking and being together so easy. The roof deck was the icing on the cake! A drink on the roof at sunset was lovely! I look forward to staying here again.

The family is so nice. Totally accommodating to our family. They had all the amenities of a home. Tons of supplies, utensils, towels, etc. really a good find. House was spotless and updated. What a beautiful place! So glad we found this nice little spot at Davis Park!

Twice as Nice

This is the second time I rented this house and it was just as nice as the first. The house is so clean and so well equipped that you can really enjoy every moment you spend on the property. Repairs are made the same day so you don't have to worry if something goes wrong. BEST part is the outdoor shower and linens included...makes it feel like home. Thank you Bob and Gigi for sharing your place with us!

This is a home away from home!

I have rented many years on Davis Park and this was truly a home, not your typical beach house. We were eight women and there was a bed to accommodate all of us. We especially loved the outdoor shower; never used the ones indoors. Ample eating space both indoors and outside. Fully equipped kitchen so all you need is food. Short walk to the beach. On the weekends there is a family who sell fresh vegetables around the block on Dune Walk so that was a bonus. His fresh lettuce and corn were wonderful. Also want to thank Gigi and Bob who met us at the dock to help transport our things to the house. Bob was kind enough to help one of our friends who has a wheel chair to get to the house. Thanks again Gigi and Bob.

Very Nice

We rented the house for my brother-in-law's 60th birthday week, and we had a great time. The house was clean and well-equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfy. The rear deck was quite large and roomy, and we spent a lot of time grilling and gathering around the spacious canopied table. The roof deck was a bonus. All in all, I believe that everyone had a very good time. Thank you Gigi and Bob.

Sea train

My family and I spent the week of July 1 through the eighth at the Seatrain. We had an absolutely fabulous time. We have rented before on the island and I have to say that Gigi and Bob's house was absolutely immaculate and completely well equipped . It is truly a home and we can't wait to go back. A true delight

We just had an amazing end of the summer stay at Sea Train. The house was clean, bright and cheerful. A wonderful layout made it comfortable for two families to share including all the musical beds that goes along with a 17, 13, 10, and 4 year old gang. The roof deck was a bonus for watching sunrise and sunset. Everything worked well (although we cannot vouch for the TV/cable since we didn't use it at all). Kitchen is well-equipped with all the basics. All beach gear was provided. Davis Park is a sweet community, no cars, no noise. Very basic necessities (beer and milk!) at the local market, but Patchogue is an easy ferry away with lots of facilities (including delivery of stuff to the ferry that you can pick up on the Davis Park side). Casino restaurant is passable for a meal, but eating at the Sea Train and enjoying the house is the ticket. And Gigi and Bob the hosts were very helpful with arrival and departure. Definitely recommend.

Sea Train 2 Thumbs UP!!!!

My best friend and I stayed at the Sea Train property with our families. There were 4 adults and 4 children in total. This home was more than accomodating!! It's bright and friendly decor was so nice to wake up to each and every day!!! The outside deck was large enough to host delicious family dinners!!! The house is located not too far from the ocean, so the ocean breeze was blowing through our windows, cooling off the space where an AC unit is completely unnecessary!!! This house had it all!! We didn't need to bring towels, beach chairs or anything of the sort!! This was a really nice feature as you have to truck all of your necessities on the ferry boat across to Fire Island. With a very short walk to the beach, we were able to go back and forth to the house very easily!! We created such wonderful memories and would stay here again without blinking an eye!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Gigi!!!

Home away from home

We had a wonderful vacation and found this lovely home to relax and entertain friends and family. Gigi and Bob are a delightful couple. Gigi met me with her cart and after a brief walk to her home, I felt like we had known each other for years. They are so warm and welcoming, as is their home. The outdoor shower is probably my favorite amenity, but the kitchen was fully equipped (also a plus in my book), and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. There is a cozy living room and a lovely deck where we gathered to enjoy a delicious Barbeque. We also enjoyed the scenery from the rooftop deck, especially viewing the blue moon on our first night. I will definitely rent this home again. Thanks Gigi and Bob!

Exceeded Expectations

Sea Train is lovely beach HOME close to the ocean yet set among the private trees on Spindrift Walk. The house is so CLEAN. The beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped with everything a vacationer would need. The rooftop deck is the perfect place to see the sunset. From the rooftop deck you can see both ocean and bay - it was a nice surprise that we did not expect. The deck off the main floor is large enough for a family gathering. Our family had a wonderful time staying at Sea Train and Bob and Gigi were wonderful hosts! Thank you!

Great beach house - great vacation

Gigi and Bob's Davis Park Fire Island beach house is delightful - very comfortable, well-stocked with all the necessary supplies for a family vacation, and a (2-minute) walk to a gorgeous white sand beach. My 4-generation family (my 3-year old grandson, my daughter and her husband, me and my 90-year old mother) all had a wonderful time there. We walked to the beach every morning and afternoon. When we weren't on the beach, we relaxed on the glorious Sea Train wrap-around porch. Every night, we cooked on the outdoor grill and ate our dinner outside at the table under the umbrella (that my grandson loved!). As Gigi had advised us before arriving, it's best to bring all your own food as the one store in town is over-priced. From beginning to end of our vacation, Gigi and Bob were extremely gracious. They met us at the ferry when we arrived and helped us transport our luggage to the house. They also helped us bring our luggage back to the ferry the day we left. In addition, they generously mailed back an item that we had accidentally left there. I highly recommend renting this beach house from Gigi and Bob. You'll enjoy every second there!

Family vaca with my daughters and grandkids

Had a great time at the Sea Train. Gigi and Bob were great and met us at the ferry with a wagon. Bob helped us carry much luggage and boxes of food that my wife and daughter brought. Bob and Gigi's home was really nice and CLEAN. Gigi showed us around the house and Bob gave us instructions regarding the grill. The rooftop deck views were amazing with beautiful sunsets every night. The beach was just a short walk. We were there every day and then back to the outdoor shower and BBQ and cocktails. Deer came by every morning and evening. We received our security deposit back in less than 48 hours. It was a 5 - 10 minute walk to the deli and the Casino bar and restaurant (only because I walk slow). We also took water taxi's to other beach communities which was quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend staying at their home and we hope to be back again next year.

Super cute house and town!

I really recommend the house to anyone! The house is super cute, we were 4 couples and had a really nice time. The town is small and you can go walking anywhere (beach, super market, bar, restaurant or ferry!) I would love to come back :)

Beach Vacation 2012

We had an incredible time. This house is lovely and was set up perfect for a week at the beach - big enough to invite family and/or friends but cozy and very efficient. Our daughter turned one while we were staying here and when we put her down on the floor upon entering the house she got up and took her first few steps! It was a very comfortable and lovely place to be in. We would do it again! Thanks Gigi and Bob!

This home was lovely. Owner made us feel welcome and showed us around the house. Home is stocked full of beach towels, bath towels, beach bags and chairs. Beautifully decoratated this house was very neat and clean. Outdoor shower was fantastic. We enjoyed every minute in this home. It was a gem and we are looking forward to renting it again!

Found the relaxation at the Sea Train!

My family and I rented the Sea Train from 8/13-8/19/12 and we had the greatest relaxing vacation! The house was very comfortable, cool and CLEAN. Everyroom was decorated beautifully and the kitchen was the best for cooking for friends and family. Beach towels were provided with the rental and that was very convenient and one less thing we did not have to pack. The outdoor shower was one of the greatest features of the house. The Sea Train is very nicely located in Davis Park. It is steps a way from the beach and a stroll to the restraurants, general store and ferry. The owners of the Sea Train are wonderful people and so nice to do a transaction with! We were met at the ferry and escorted to the house. They gave us a tour of the house and even provided muffin pans when I asked! The owners were very responsive with a phone call or a text message. They described their house and represented it in their ad and answered any question I had leading up to the time of rental. Because the house was so nice and comfortable, I can honestly say that this was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a very long time. We also highly recommend the clam bake at the restaurant on Tuesdays! We will definitely rent the Sea Train again!

Dream vacation

Couldn't ask for more perfect accommodations. Clean and cozy, with a patio, roofdeck, a 2 min walk from the beach - and to top it all off - an outdoor (enclosed) shower!!! The Sea Train made us want to follow up our weekend stay in Fire Island with many more.

Wonderful, wonderful experience

Our stay at this home was everything we wanted it to be! It's bright, sunny, clean and well decorated (better than pictures) It's convenient: a short, 2-minute walk to ocean beaches, 5-minute walk to the "town"/store/ferry terminal, and a 5-minute walk to the restaurant/bar (The Casino). Everyone had their own space in the house. There's a great amount of outdoor living space (a wraparound deck & a roof deck). The house came w/everything we'd need (beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, citronella candles, etc.) The only things we needed to bring were sunscreen, swimsuits, bug spray & food (you can buy food in town, but it's more expensive. Best to bring some non-perishable stuff w/ you!) The homeowner (Gigi) was delightful & welcoming. She met us at the dock and she & her husband helped us carry our things to the house (w/a wagon). They took time to show us around the house. They even gave us instructions on how to use the grill. My friends & I kept recalling Gigi's words of wisdom throughout our stay. She would say things like, "Girls, it's very important that you go up to the roof and look at the stars!" or "Girls, you really need to not take any showers inside because the outdoor shower is amazing!" (Note: We were absolutely allowed to take showers inside, Gigi just wanted us to enjoy the outdoor shower --and it's as amazing as she said it would be!) Gigi is also clearly well-liked in this community. As we were walking to the house, she greeted several passersby, and people went out of their way to say hi to her. This may not be important to some people, but I think it shows the kind of homeowner she is -- she's not a slum lord just trying to make money off of renters. This is her community, her home and she takes pride in it. The Davis Park community was wonderful -- people leave their doors open, the beaches are not overcrowded and they're clean. The restaurant/bar (The Casino) was a great place to hang out. The bartenders were nice. It wasn't too overpriced. And they don't care if you show up with sand on your feet. On top of all of this, the home was very well-priced compared to other homes on the island (and in my opinion, it's nicer and cleaner than a lot of the other homes). Additionally, they returned our security deposit less than two days. I could go on and on/say a lot more -- but the bottom line is: we had a wonderful experience at this home and we're already trying to plan another trip back before the end of the summer.
