Contemporary home backing to the AZ Trail/Canal and Greenbelt with open views

Our two bedroom home with office has a split floor plan opening to a large backyard with mountain views and easy access to all that is Scottsdale. Opportunities for dining, entertainment, spring training, hiking, biking and golf are all around you, within a short drive or, or for some locales, a short walk or bike ride.

Old Town Scottsdale and Fashion Square Mall are a 5 minute drive or easy bike ride along the greenbelt or canal trails. You can walk or ride your bike to Salt River Fields for spring training and festivals; more spring training located in Old Town or nearby Mesa and Tempe. Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter are 10 minutes away, Barrett Jackson and the Phoenix Waste Management Golf Tournament are a 15 minute drive. Numerous golf courses are close by, one of which is within view across the greenbelt. Go hiking on Camelback Mountain or nearby McDowell Mountain trails. Or go out your back door for a walk, run or bike ride on the miles of Arizona Canal Trails or Scottsdale Greenbelt, which can take you all the way to Papago Park and the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Or stay home and relax in the spacious open backyard with a large pool (not heated) and shady areas to read a book. Or take privacy in the front courtyard under the huge mesquite and soothing fountain. Cook in the open concept kitchen and enjoy time at home. The home is updated with all tile flooring, custom cabinets and new stainless appliances.

Don't want to leave home without the whole family? For a small additional fee, your pets are welcome. The backyard is a huge playground for your dog, fenced in with block walls and secure gates.

The backyard backs to the Arizona Canal Trails system. We love watching the walkers, bike riders, runners and dog walkers go by, but if you want complete privacy, slip into the comfortable outdoor seating in the private front courtyard and get away from the world.

Please note the pool is not heated or fenced so we do not find our home suitable for children. Currently, the garage is unavailable.

We are close by to help with any needs, but like to leave all guests to their privacy to enjoy their vacation.

Hosts were quick to respond to questions. Amenities were great, with complete instructions for Smart TV, fan remotes, and all switches for lighting and fans clearly labeled. Plenty of outlets for "devices". We appreciated the two daily newspapers in the driveway! I even took a dip in the cool pool after walking back from the Bike Emporium after an 11 mile bike ride! Very refreshing. A lovely home in a very peaceful and quiet location. I walked out the back gate to the canal walking bridge and walked for miles along the combined Maricopa Trail, Greenbelt trails,etc. Also has great proximity to 3 ballparks for MLB spring trainin and Arizona Fall Ball. Definitely would stay again

Great spot for some sun

We were there in mid March. Great location right next to a hiking trail. Owners were VERY responsive when a plumbing issue came up (turned out just to be a clogged drain). Friendly neighbors. Would 100% stay there again. (Word to others from colder climates: I’m not sure when the sweet spot for an unheated pool is, but it isn’t March)

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood

The house was fantastic! We loved the huge yard with the fire pit and pool. Proximity to greenbelt bike park was a huge bonus. Interior furnishings were all very nice. House was well prepared. The hosts were very attentive to all our questions. I would highly recommend this property.

The property was clean and so comfortable to stay at. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful with any needs. This was probably the best stocked place I’ve ever stayed at with anything and everything I might need in the kitchen. Loved the location and how close it was to everything. The perfect house with a perfect location!

My husband and our 2 dogs stayed at this property, this was our second time here. The yard is perfect for the dogs to run and play. The canal behind the house is perfect for dog walks. We brought our bikes the canal connect to many bike pathes. We were surrounded by grocery stores. The owners are delightful! Quick to respond. A pleasure to deal with. I highly recommended this VRBO. We will be back. This stay was for a month, it went by way too fast

Two Weeks of Peace & Quiet

The property is just as advertised. It's neat, clean, & comfortable; located right next to the canal & walking path. The large property is completely walled, so our dogs could run around in the back to their hearts' content. Sandy & Glenn are terrific hosts & really nice folks; very responsive to answering questions and responding to requests. We truly enjoyed our two-week vacation, & would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.
