"Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé is an utterly charming venue nestled amidst one of the most romantic streets of Butte Montmartre (subject of many Impressionist paintings). It is literally steps away from both tourist attractions, such as Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur, as well as more esoteric, and infinitely more interesting local gems, such as the first independent Montmartre cinema, Studio 28, (which featured early Cocteau and Buñuel films) and Montmartre Cemetery (where you can pay respects to Emile Zola, Hector Berlioz and Jeanne Moreau all at once, amongst many other historical figures). It is a location like no other. The hotel staff was delightful, and we thank them profusely for our pleasurable stay! Truly, not enough epithets to show our appreciation of this hotel and its surroundings."
