"We were lucky enough to book a room with an Eiffel tower view and it was totally worth it. If available do not pass it up. Our room on the seventh floor had panoramic views of Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and the Seine on one side and the other had views of the Eiffel tower and the Pantheon. Stepping onto the balcony to hear Notre Dame's bells or being able to watch the Eiffel tower light show during our first time in Paris was special. The proximity to Notre Dame, the metro, and being minutes away from the center of Saint-Germain and the Latin Quarter was superb. Brownie points for having a Monoprix around the corner to stock the room with necessities. Yes the building is old, and some spaces like the elevator are small but after all its Paris, the city has been around for centuries! We had no issues with any of the amenities including the air conditioning. The elevator was broken when we arrived on Saturday but the staff was still kind enough to send our luggage up to our room. By Monday the elevator was repaired. This is not a Marriot or Hilton but I think its an excellent boutique option when staying in Paris, you cannot beat the location and coziness."

"I liked the location, at the corner of the Blvd St. Michel. Nearby restaurants were very convenient. The hotel itself is in need of a renovation. The carpets were old, furniture chipped. But the basic conveniences were there including a safe. The linens were quite clean. Breakfast buffet was ok although there are a lot of cafes nearby where one could have breakfast. The staff were helpful, and obviously quite experienced but with typical Parisian lack of smiles. My room was not cleaned on one day because the cleaners were so late (3pm) I came back and told them not to."

"Only stayed one night, but wish it could have been longer and will return next time we are in Paris. Clean, modern with staff very eager to help and give suggestions for food/shopping/sightseeing. Rooms today, well insulated for sound and darkening curtains so slept like logs. Location great - walk to attractions and shopping within a half hour, close to hop on/off route etc."
