"This hotel is located in the wonderful left bank area of St Germane. Its location location location makes it the perfect place to see the attractions in Paris. The side streets are full of cafes, restaurants and bakeries. A short walk to Notre Dame and the Seine. Rooms are small but this is Paris.. the staff friendly and welcoming."

"The location was fantastic. The only problem we encountered was our original room. We had written numerous times that my mother in law was elderly and could not do stairs. So when we got there they gave us a room with a spiral staircase that lead to the bedroom and the shower. Luckily the hotel wasn’t at full capacity and we were given a beautiful room with a king bed. I believe it was an upgrade! After that everything was wonderful."

"Our stay at Hôtel Baume was the perfect way to begin our first trip to Paris—it truly set the tone for the rest of our visit. The location was very convenient, especially being close to the metro, which made getting around the city and traveling to the train station for our day trip to London easy and stress-free. It’s also just steps from charming cafés and the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, which added to the overall Parisian experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with attentive and welcoming staff who made us feel taken care of throughout our stay. Our room was just right for us—thoughtfully designed and a great place to relax after long days of exploring. While the location worked well for us, especially for this trip, we did find it a bit less convenient to some of the major Paris sites. Next time, we might choose to stay closer to those areas—but that’s simply a matter of preference and itinerary. Overall, this hotel was a wonderful choice for our first stop in Paris, and it delivered a charming, comfortable, and very positive experience.
