The entire two nights we stayed was very nice. The cabin itself was clean and roomy for the two of us. Very convenient to have everything you need to cook with and cooked on the black stone grill. We were able to have a fire the one night which was so quiet and had endless amount of stars to see. The only thing that some people may not like is the neighbor was right next door and when their dog was outside it did bark anytime it saw or heard you. Overall, the cabin was a wonderful place to stay.

Agree with all the other reviews - very cute, clean, well stocked cabin. Peaceful location, beautiful views. It was just 2 of us and it was the perfect size. Our son (Concord Univ student) and his girlfriend joined us for dinner & college football for Saturday night and it got a tad crowded on the couch. They weren't staying overnight so it was fine. The 2nd room is ideal for younger children as you can see in the photos it is bunk beds. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay and will definitely stay in the future when visiting our kiddo at school.

Cabin was clean and offered all the essentials we needed. We were looking for a stress free, peaceful week. The surrounding mountains are beautiful. There are many state parks and towns within driving distance from the cabin. The owners have put together a great selection of information of the surrounding area.

Great place for a short stay! Tons of accessories in the kitchen for cooking--probably once of the best stocked homes we've stayed in. Only downside (and maybe this info is in the listing and we overlooked it), but you have to walk through the front bedroom to get to the second bedroom. This also means walking into the front bedroom to get to the bathroom. My family are light sleepers, so this was somewhat annoying when someone needed to get up in the night. For a short stay, it wasn't a big deal, but definitely something to keep in mind.

First of all Kirk is wonderful and communication was superb. From beginning to end this trip was flawless. Check-in was a breeze! From the moment you enter this cozy and comfortable cabin the ambiance is amazing. It is obvious that the objective is to make guests feel welcome and cozy. We have stayed at Pipestem many times and this cabin was by far the most stocked/had items for our Mini Doxie/and an amazing TV with great WIFI. It has everything you need literally. This was a trip to just relax and we certainly did that. Addy adapted right away. Pipestem State Resort is just a stones throw away. Hubby likes to golf and the golf course at Pipestem is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable and the shower works great. The kitchen is so well stocked that you literally do not need to bring anything. The Blackstone grill is available for use as well. I loved the way things are labeled and the literature available for persons who are not familiar with the area is fantastic! If you like Japanese food Fujiyama in Beckley is fantastic as always. I would highly recommend Pipestem Trading Post as their food is excellent! Please visit this jewel in Pipestem. It is very easy to find and you will not regret it! Top notch Kirk!

Wonderful Stay at Rocky Mount Cabin!

Our stay at the Rocky Mount Cabin was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy atmosphere and the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat – comfortable, charming, and with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The host was incredible with communication, making the process smooth and easy. We ended up extending our stay, and it was such a breeze to do so – the host made everything hassle-free.The location couldn’t have been better – peaceful, serene, and just the perfect spot to unwind. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing escape

Wedding Stay

We came for a wedding at Pipestem Resort State Park. We all had the option of staying at the resort, however we chose otherwise. It was so cozy and such a cute little cabin. We enjoyed having our own space and being able to have our own bedroom. The host has thought of everything that anyone could possibly need. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The scenery is breathtaking!! Highly highly recommend this place!

Cozy and quiet

My family and I had a great stay. We booked this place for a weekend of skiing and really enjoyed it. It was very peaceful and quiet. Pretty sure we saw less than 10 cars ride by during our stay. The place was well equipped with needed items and the blackstone grill was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed cooking on the porch for dinner and breakfast. Would definitely visit this place again.
