The place is in a great location, on the water/beach and 5 mins from my family, so that's the good. Despite their massive renovations, it's still rough around the edges. The bed itself was comfy, but the bedding smelled too strongly of bleach and blanket old and thin. Room was clean, but water didn't drain well in shower and we didn't get the walk out patio as was in the photos - the units closest to the breakwall had the walkouts removed, so just double check if you have heart set on walking out to the sand directly from room. Check in staff was nice and friendly. PRice is very decent, but again, it still feels dated in spots like hallways.

Our stay was ok, room was fine, could have used N extra blanket as it was on the cooler side. Breakfast was very basic. No hot protein. Eggs and bacon or sausage would have been nice, or even hot oatmeal.

The staff could have been kinder and more professional. My husband had stitches on his elbow and while he was sleeping he bled through the dressing and a small amount got on the sheets which I personally took off the bed. We were treated like dirty animals. The situation was bad enough. Don’t hotels use bleach to clean their sheets? Woman have periods, people get hurt. This was absolutely unacceptable. What’s even WORSE is I love the area and it’s a beautiful night so I was going to book it for tonight. They told me I couldn’t book at their hotel because my husband’s wound opened up and he had to go to the hospital again. This staff is very unkind and inconsiderate. I am a nurse and have never heard of something like this happening. Kindness is Everything and that is not present at this property!
