We stayed here for a couple of days and really enjoyed it. The house was super cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed: plates, glasses, silverware, wine opener, pots and pans, towels, plus a Keurig with lots of coffee pods. The beds were really comfortable with lots of soft blankets. The area around is a little dated, but the house sits at the end of a quiet street, so it felt nice and private. Occasionally you hear a train pass by at night, but it didn’t bother us at all. Kroger is just a minute away, which was super convenient. Overall, a great spot for a short getaway!

Clean and cozy

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a weekend getaway, home was clean quiet area. Previous reviews yes there are train tracks close but it did not bother us, there is an area to sit outside which was nice. close to a lot of things to do in the area!

Always Clean and Comfortable

THis is the third time for our group of 5 senior citizen kayak fisherman staying here and we always will stay here when fishing in this area. Clean, comfortable, convenient location Rental process very easy. Plenty of parking for our boat trailers. Never had any type of security issues

This is a very nice house to stay in! It was clean and has all the necessities. Plenty of parking. There were 2 adults on this trip and the house provided plenty of room to move around. Only down side is the small bathroom with no counter space.

Port Clinton

5 60+ guys here to fish. Property is very clean. inside and out. It is close to train tracks with a good amount of traffic, which did not bother us at all. Close to all activities. We like to have a few cocktails and play cards, but we were so beat from fishing, it was dinner and in bed by 8and back up at 5. Hopefully we will be able to rent this again next spring. Ken was very prompt at returning messages. Everything was as listed. Thank you again and hope to be in this next spring!

Eclipse Trip

We loved our stay in Hidden Getaway. It was in a great location. We were able to walk downtown to restaurants and the lake easily. The small yard is great too. I wish we were in town longer to enjoy it more.

Nice Quaint House

This property was clean and very well taken care of. It’s at the end of a dead end road that is near some railroad tracks. The trains did not bother us as they do not blast the horn as they go buy. Hardly could notice a train! The house was very clean as well as the outdoors. The yard was freshly mowed which made our time enjoying the fire pit and for home that much nicer. The beds and furniture was all comfortable. Perfect place for 4 adults. The owner was very quick to communicate and made sure our stay was perfect. Thanks Kenneth! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Little House Close To The Lake & Park

We stayed at this cute little house from Sunday - Wednesday. It was my family of 6 (4 children, 13, 11, 5 and 3). The house was very clean and decorated with neat lake decor. The house was fully furnished with all of the things you'd need to stay and be comfortable. There was a nice little yard with access to a cornhole board and grill. There is a train track located directly in front of the house. We are from a tiny town with a very busy track so that didn't bother us one bit. When we booked this house, we didn't quite realize how close we truly were to the park and beach. At the public beach just down the road, there is a little building with restrooms so that you can change and get ready to enjoy some time at the lake. There was an incredible, clean, huge park for our children to enjoy about 2 blocks away from the house (directly across the street from the beach). We were also only a hop, skip and jump away from Jet Express (which we used to go to PIB) and a lot restaurants. We tried Dock's Beach House for lunch. It was delicious and the service was great! We also got dessert one evening at a small local dairy bar a few blocks away. Walmart, Kroger, etc was only a few minutes away also for anything you may have forgotten. All in all, this house worked great for us and we'd stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you for helping make our vacation one we will remember for years to come.

Gem It Is!

This hidden gem is an excellent stay! I am huge on cleanliness and it was immaculate! Everything went so smooth as far as check in/ check out / finding the place / communication with the property owner/ Wi-Fi connection / parking / etc!!! We all slept very comfortably and had a great time. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. The bedrooms all have plenty of room. I have nothing but positive things and thoughts to say about our stay! Absolutely perfect đŸŒŸâ­ïžđŸŒŸâ­ïžđŸŒŸđŸ€©
