Denise and Alan are a wonderful couple who evidently love to host. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we even had cookies and chocolate waiting for us!! Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our history presentation and live music while we were eating. 10/10 recommend this sweet place. We have stayed at other accommodations in Cape Breton that cost more and they didn’t hold a candle to this place!! We hope to come back some day.

A wonderful place to stay for sure. The home was built by the owners and all guest rooms are on the main floor. Pretty, spacious bedrooms. Breakfast was an unexpected treat - tablecloths, individual little dishes with an assortment of jams, butter, marmalade etc. fresh brewed coffee. Fruit cups and yogurt followed by individual hot dishes of frittata. Owner showed us a slide show of attractions during breakfast and some history of the area and serenaded us with a Scottish tune on his fiddle. Exactly the type of welcoming BnB we were looking for.
