Old, too Rustic cabins. Oh! God how surprised we were when we opened the door! 379$ for old not comfortable Cabin. Double bed canât sleep 2. Uncomfortable sofa bed. Old AC pushing dust. We have refused to sleep in this place. The persons at the reception was not helpful either.
Cabin was OK nothing special. We felt very cramped. It would have been nice if we knew about the rough road that we had to drive on to the Cabin If I would have known I would never had booked this place as I was in a Moni Cooper, as far as I am concerned this place is just a name. Restaurant was very good
The staff at reception were extremely unfriendly and the whisky tour was definitely not worth the money. Some cabins are quite a distance from the rest of the facility. However, the pub and live music was fantastic.
This is presented as a high end boutique hotel but it is far from it. The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are cheaply finished, sparsely decorated and in poor repair. The windows donât appear to have been washed in years. When the sun shines on them you can barely see outside through the dirt. Added to that, there are no drapes just a blackout blind giving the room an unfinished feeling. The website boasts of having one of Canadaâs top 100 restaurants but in fact there is just a pub serving very sub par pub food. Apparently the dining room has not been open for several years. All in all a very disappointing experience for something that was supposed to be a fun splurge.
