First the rates seemed a bit high
Our booking wasn't listed at the hotel even though we had a conformation number.
The air conditioning was set on high in the room when we walked in and the room was so cold we had to wear jackets.
The heat in the room wouldn't warm up the room.
For the amount we paid and then sat in a room freezing is absolutely absurd.
Then in the morning we arrived at the dinning room for breakfast when the waitress asked if we had a breakfast coupon.
I asked how you get the coupon and she replied that they come with certain rooms.
I couldn't believe that we paid 225 for the room and that doesn't seem to be enough to comp breakfast.
As well i found the room rather rundown and in need of repair and upgrade.
The Dundee area is amazing and the property is as well, however, if you are going to charge premium rates then the services should reflect the cost.

So sorry you did not enjoy your experience with our property. As new owners we are still working out kinks and so we ask for your patience with our upgrades. Many of our rooms have already been completed, it was unfortunate you were in one that wasn't finished. We hope you consider Dundee again. All the best.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you had issues with your accommodation. We are particularly surprised at the comment that you felt the room was run down as our rooms have all been outfitted with new furnishings, carpet and paint in the past three years. This year has been particularly challenging with regard to high humidity which likely is the cause of a must odor. However we have asked our Housekeeping and Maintenance staff to investigate as well to see if there is some other cause.
