The resort was across from the lake. The room we had was really big. Beds were comfortable. We played mini golf. It could use some updating but it was still fun. They have both a indoor and outdoor pool. We went in the outdoor pool which was nice and deep. There is nothing really around here so we ate at the resort. It was a bit confusing about which area to eat at so make sure you ask at the front desk. There is a restaurant and a clubhouse. The resort was 2 hrs from the Newfoundland Ferry so a good place to stop if you have some extra time.

Our stay was great the staff were very helpful as i have walking issues and it was no problem changing rooms. The room was very clean and the beds were comforable I would highly recommend this rsort to anyone

Cottages are ok even if slightly outdated. They're too close one to another and it offers a camping experience which is not what we were looking for.

Nice big room. I thought it was lovely and beautiful location with lots to do if you like being outside. I wish I’d had the time to take full advantage of all the amenities (boating, etc) I liked the artwork. Hot tub appeared closed, but pools looked nice. Mini putt looked closed, too?

The front desk staff need to be trained more. When you are asked a question regarding a fridge not working or when is the boat tour going. Don't lie and tell the patron that you have to put ice in the fridge to cool it down or you missed the tour ,when the tour wasn't going out because we were the only ones to book the tour. Just let us know and we would be ok with that. The food in the restaurant was terrible. We had been at the resort many times. The food was great then , however, it is not up to par now. The waitress was nice and attentive.We expect good food and a more variety on the menu for the money we paid . This used to be a great resort but not now. We won't be back and neither will a lot of people who were patrons of the resort.Judith & Glenn Bishop

Great restaurants for evening dining on site or the clubhouse for lunch. Beautiful golf course. Fairways a bit dried out but so is every other course these days.

The Resort is a fair distance from other areas. 2 restaurants on site, both great. The Resort is kept clean, nice and quiet for families but just make sure you plan well and bring lots of snacks. Beautiful outdoor pool, nice cottages, mini golf. Some things were a bit dated, but we found it charming.
