I took my wife for her 55th Birthday We had a blast walked across the street to all the local shops and awesome restaurants. The second time there there definitely will be a third time. Great hidden gem.

We always enjoy staying here. The room we had was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The inn was done up for the holidays so it looks festive and nice, especially the two fireplaces. We enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet again this year and it was very good. We love the area and enjoy the waterfront always. The Dive Restaurant on site was very good too. The only item forbour room was that the hot water could have been warmer however we were fine! We look forward to returning. Thank you so much! Always a wonderful stay.

Our second stay — and probably our last. The location is great and the staff was friendly — but sleep? Not so much. Over a two-night stay, we might have managed a grand total of eight hours. Between midnight and 2 a.m., the hallways turned into a racetrack for wedding guests apparently training for the Olympics. This all took place one floor above the front desk, so I can only assume the staff heard every cheer, shout, and thundering footstep as clearly as we did. A night security guard might be a worthwhile investment. And then there was room 364 — our own little acoustics experiment. The walls were so thin we became very familiar with the couple next door. I now know their names, life goals, and preferred terms of endearment — and we’ve never even met (thankfully). At one point, we blasted the TV to drown out the serenade, but it turns out even surround sound was no match for true love. By morning, we could even hear when they received text notifications. Needless to say, we made a stealthy exit before our neighbors woke up, mostly to avoid awkward eye contact. To top it all off, once we got home, we noticed an extra $31.80 charge on our card — a “destination fee” of $15 per night plus tax. This fee was never mentioned when we booked or checked in, even though the room was fully prepaid. It felt sneaky and left a bad impression after an already sleepless stay.

Hotels.com didn't send over the new itinerary to the St. Clair Inn which took me over an hour waiting in the lobby to get it fixed. I was extending my stay. The St Clair Inn was fine but Hotels.com screwed it all up. I was there for a funeral and was already upset. I won't use this website ever again.
